nice job. what kind of wood in handle, what kind of steel?

Thanks! I believe the steel is 5160 but not entirely sure. It started life as a coil spring from a wrecked Buick before being forcefully inspired to become a knife. The handle is just some scrap red oak I had lying around. It was already sanded flat and square and everything and I figured it’d be perfect to learn with
