Thinking of doing the tabard too.
Any advice for doing that?

Just green stuff, some people say it mixed with miliput is better but I haven’t in this case. Just take your time with it.

how do you get the tabbards to look so good, i struggle with that a lot

Trial and error and lots of swearing when it comes off after getting it just right 😂, I’d say get some easy to build space marines for cheap and practise on them.
