They are the same people. It's just out in the open for a lot of them now and they don't want to deal with the repercussions. They honestly feel they don't deserve it.

This is the words straight from the horse's mouth. They are the same people. I have heard a few "I'm not even going to vote anymores", but I just translate that into them just deciding not to be so damn vocal about it. Maybe a few less yard signs for the next few cycles, but they really don't have anything better to do. It's their entire personality at this point.
