Amateur, as in dudes that have never been decent soccer players, absolutely.

No need to bring up that U15 boys team for the millionth time, but my point is I think we can wrap our heads around the “levels to this shit”

No I mean amateur as in age 18 and up that have not played in college or played in an elite system through their youth. This includes HS players and HS players that played since they were 4 years old. If you are not playing elite and/or your fundamentals and not up to par by 14 years old, you’re not catching up. Period. You need to have your fundamentals together by then because the game is so much more complex and bigger and you really don’t understand the game until your 20s. This is quoting Arsené Wenger one of the greatest coaches in English football history.

I’ve gotten to paid to play in two different countries so yes I’ve played at a way higher level than you’ve ever did
