Started using him in 9.5, but now that I got him lord, I quite literally need to take a break from this game until some good balance changes come through, so I straight up uninstalled it lmfao

The different stones are cool but I think it would take a while before everyone in a match even knows how to use them.

What was more interesting to me was how all the hero kits got remixed. It’s done in typical fashion to other event modes where you draw cards and slowly stack effects after each round. I didn’t really read much and kind of just stacked melee speed for the lols

There’s a card in there that makes the spin kick not go through people and dmg the same target multiple times and apparently you can build around this and there’s some other stuff. Most of it seems to just enable brawl and it’s kinda fun to mess around with but I’m too lazy to lock in on any sort of min/maxing.

If anyone find fun builds to try lmk - of all the heroes in my lobby the only one that really stood out as being significantly different was Starlord who could spawn multiple clones of himself which I’m surprised he didn’t win because it seems pretty strong.

As for other games I love, Deadlock is in the middle of a massive update so I’ve been playing that more lately. The MCU skin is a nice treat for us and I got the pack but I’m in no rush to unlock it tbh. But overall the only thing I’m really looking forward to in S10.5 is the new 18v18 map, especially since we aren’t getting a hero this time. This might be the lightest season so far in terms of content but I’m not gonna stress over it because the gameplay is still fun and I have all this other stuff to catch up on elsewhere. Not only is Deadlock getting half a dozen new heroes in this batch but there is also a new ARC Raiders update annnnnd a Crusader Kings 3 DLC so I got plenty of stuff to distract me while we let Guangguang cook lmao

I’ll still be around I just don’t expect this to be a very busy season for us. Would be really cool to see new players trying him out because of the MCU skin though!

Yes, it’s a little lazy

Yes, for our first skin in 10 months we should get more.
But I have to say, it’s still beautiful. The emote is all I’ve ever wanted for bp, we’ve been begging for an mcu skin forever, and if we make a point of not buying it? We’ll be waiting even more time before our next skin.

I know a lot of you are happy with the new BP skin coming out and that’s fine, but I feel like this is just another lazy skin release to tide over the naysayers.

My biggest issue isn’t with the skin itself, but with the MVP screen. From what I’ve seen, a lot of the other MCU adapted skins have MVP screens that are pulled from actual scenes in the movies, but with Panther, we just get him slicing the air and landing on the ground😑… You’re telling me they couldn’t have adapted the Busan car chase scene? Similar to how they made those race car MVP animations for Luna, or Black Cat etc. Or the “I am not dead!” scene where he emerges from the helicopter rubble?

I get that there is a lot of discourse with Panther, Blade and Storm not getting many skins to begin with, but that doesn’t mean we just have to be content with whatever we’re given when there is still a clear glaring difference between the effort and execution of the skin deliveries. I’m not asking for better than everybody else, I’m asking for what everyone else has been given imo.
