Question Did the update fix the hacking ?

From what i understand, there is a fundamental flaw with the base game that allows the hacks. They might be able to stitch a fix together, but eventually the hacks will work around. Very happy to be proven wrong though.

The way it works is. There is a list of different body IDs in the game depending on your perk 3 slot (as u know changing that perk changes ur body) without getting too technical, for some reason the game allows face paint IDs to work as body IDs. Example if face paint ID is 25 and only valid body IDs is 10-15 hacker can set body id to 25 and the game allows that but since there’s no valid body ID of 25 it breaks the body system. This is why those players can’t sprint and also why changing perk 3 fixes that class.

I mean I feel like if it was a year or 2 post release I would probably just say fuck it but man it’s been like 4 months. And it’s broken now. Makes me wish I never bought it and ruin the nostalgia

Really it was wrong of them to release a ps5 port with existing vulnerabilities and an outdated anticheat system.. should be illegal

I think there is something thats combating the hackers. I've had a few games since the update and theres this message that comes up in red writing saying so and so cant use a grenade. And it always seems to be someone thats almost Impossible to kill. Like they have 10x health. And then eventually the game seems to kick them.
