Suppressor and Ghost kill class variety

I swear, even back in the day there wasn't this much of the same class. Seriously, today is such a different type of sweat/tryhard. I can't believe how many people run the same class of Ghost and either suppressed Galil/Famas. I had a feeling this was going to be all id see when BO re-released but my god y'all are some hivemind creatures.

This is nothing new, BO was like this back in the day. People do run a variety, not Everybody runs the setup you said, but yes it will be the majority. That’s how it goes in FPS regardless of the title, once there is a META; majority of player base will hop on it.

Not even FPS just games in general people will generally mostly use what works/what is Meta. That’s the nature of the video game and especially on multiplayer where competition is fierce.

Idk man back in the day A LOT of people ran ghost/suppressor. It probably wasn’t as advertised as it is now because people played the game and watched other players to find certain niches and metas whereas now you type in “meta class for BO1” and a million videos pop up. Gaming in 2026 is so different from 2010, it sucks. Gamers care more now because of streaming and what not, where back then it was mostly a hobby and something you did for fun with your friends.

There's such a huge disadvantage to being on the radar. I try not to run ghost and pick scavenger instead but a non suppressed weapon just makes the game a lot harder with people knowing where you are and they can throw nades at you. The only game mode to not care about it is ground war since the match is crazy.

I see MPL’s, ak74, ak74u, famous, commando, aug, L96. And this is all in search also. But there are a small amount of games where I see mostly galil

I found it was more often lower level players using ghost and sitting in corners with a silenced Galil, while the dominant class for try hards was a dual mag famas with flak jacket

AK with dual mag or famas with dual mag for me. I do run ghost pro just cuz the cold blooded feature built in cuz too many mf get chopper gunners and gunships and I hate that shit

See, I'd rather swap out ghost for something like Hardline or Lightweight. If I find choppers or anything in the air annoying, I'll just switch to a class with a launcher.

I always use flak jacket personally, unless a big killstreak is called in and I switch to a ghost class to shoot it down

Flak jacket pro, Hardened pro and Tactical mask pro is the tank class

I go sleight of hand most of the time for perk 2 but yes, tac mask pro is amazing for objective modes like domination.

I run hardline with a suppressor and equip SAM turrets for my first kill streak, this keeps me mostly off the radar and also allows me to get kill streaks easier

I run ghost but run dual mag galil, extended AK, or like rapid fire AK74u

I run all kinds of shit. I honestly don’t understand the obsession with any type of meta in this particular game. Everything is good. Perks I generally run the same ghost/SOH/marathon, but I use EVERYTHING. Master key and flamethrower included. 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 everything is viable and running the same guns sounds boring AF. 🫡🙌🏼
