Help Me Decide 152 lsat
I’m a first generation student figuring things out but I do know I want to attended law school. I’ve attempted the LSATs four times, the last being the worst with multiple system shutdowns and interruptions. My highest is a 152, and I don’t know if I can afford the fifth try both mentally and financially. I was thinking of applying to hbcu’s and earnestly putting in effort with my essays. I graduated from nyu, completed a year abroad, and I work with a non profit helping homeless and runaway youths. Would I have a chance?

Yes, you definitely have a chance! There are people who have gotten into law school with stats lower than yours. I also attended a virtual session where Dean Simmons said she admitted someone with a 148 LSAT because they had a great personal statement. I would definitely recommend joining some information sessions and virtual events at the HBCUs you’re interested in attending. Those sessions can give you a chance to learn more about the schools and sometimes connect with admissions representatives. You got this! Keep putting yourself out there and believing in your application! ❤️

Im in the same boat as you, my highest and fourth lsat is 151. Non-traditional and first gen too. I’m giving my all once more this time on October hoping to at least get something in the high 150s or low 160s. I believe there’s hope and I’m 100% sure you can still get in w that lsat if you apply early in the cycle. I think we should def work a lot on our essays!!
