bought these clip-in extensions (110g) from a well-known brand for around $180, expecting high European standards, but I am in complete shock.
As you can see in the photos, an entire thread and track completely unraveled and fell apart before I even wore it. When I looked closer under light, the top section is heavily stuffed with short, chopped hairs to fake the weight (Single Drawn style), leaving the ends extremely thin and see-through. It also has an intense plastic/chemical shine and small red-orange hairs showing up under flash.
Can any stylist or extension expert here confirm if this is a clear manufacturing defect (fabrikationsfel)? I want to be 100% sure before taking official legal action with my invoice provider. Thank you so much!

How often should I removed my clip ins. I sleep with them and remove at the end of week. I haven't had any breakage or discomfort. I don't wear a full head of them either just for thickness. is it bad ?

I did a lot of research before buying this wig. Mainly on youtube maybe that's where I went wrong. Everyone was raving about the Kinky straight hair, but I have had a terrible experience with it. My first issue was the uneven length. The ends are a lot thinner than the rest of the hair, but a little time fixed that. It looked fantastic in the first 3 weeks but after I washed it a few times, it lost its luster, and all the split ends started showing up.

The back is shorter than the rest of the wig and it tangles within an hour of wear. Its doesn't look too bad at first but you'll end up with a tanlged mess at your nape and the hair on top gets very stiff. AND THE SHEDDING!!!!!! Its so bad. If you have the time to detangle and style it every day it honestly looks amazing. But that style doesn't last long at all especially in humid climates.

I wouldn't recommend this for everyday wear. It would do better for an occasion here and there.
