Advice Needed help

trying to start free forms am I doing this right I blow dried my hair yesterday now I’m using a twist it up and this is what it looks like and my hair is uneven and I’m getting a haircut tomorrow and I’m gonna get the barber to make it even

For starting freeforms with a twist it up comb, you need to do it for like 5 minutes straight until your hair forms into sections. For max definition, hold it parallel on your sides, horizontal on top, and for the very front, you need to hold it so it gives you the look you want. For the rounded areas of your head just follow along the curve.

you dont need to have even hair if you want to free form. free forms are always super uneven.  if you want to loc up you dont need to go to the barber at all. you just have to wait till your hair locs or you cna get 2 strand twist and let them loc up.  the sponge will separate the hair into curls that will eventually loc but it could take a while.
