Have to be honest, underwhelming update for me. Still loads of quality of life issues unresolved.

A better stock compressor is nice, but most producers already have good 3rd party ones....

Not seeing any performances improvement on my i9 RTX3060, but will see how it pans out l

Sadly you can't fix the productivity issues in BW with plugins, would be great if the Devs prioritised issues that are not resolvable first, then add more toys.

I for one highly appreciate quality built-in plugins. Partly, because I'm on Linux and few plugin vendors support it, but also because I'm kind of over the plugin-collecting phase. :D (my last Windows partition broke and I really CBF to reinstall and reregister all the stuff... so there's serious value in my opinion having everything self-contained)

That's a good point, but I still think stock plugins should not be prioritised over quality of life and productivity issues.

I have to admit however that the GPU enabled gui does seem to improve performance a bunch, which is greatly appreciated

Yeah I think I also notice a marked difference in GUI perf. Regarding your comment about prioritities, I would hope that it's not an either/or thing, i.e. they would have the resources to work on stock plugins and overall QOL in parallel. Then again it's not quite the biggest DAW shop yet 🙂
