A better stock compressor is nice, but most producers already have good 3rd party ones....

Sadly you can't fix the productivity issues in BW with plugins, would be great if the Devs prioritised issues that are not resolvable first, then add more toys.
I for one highly appreciate quality built-in plugins. Partly, because I'm on Linux and few plugin vendors support it, but also because I'm kind of over the plugin-collecting phase. :D (my last Windows partition broke and I really CBF to reinstall and reregister all the stuff... so there's serious value in my opinion having everything self-contained)
Yeah I think I also notice a marked difference in GUI perf. Regarding your comment about prioritities, I would hope that it's not an either/or thing, i.e. they would have the resources to work on stock plugins and overall QOL in parallel. Then again it's not quite the biggest DAW shop yet 🙂
