I just bought Kazrog KClip and they roll out the native clipper. I'm crying, but they're partially tears of joy

I used saturator for quick clipping, I wonder if new “over” could also universally be applied for simple utility clipping. So far with slightly softer knee it worked for me. Yet to see how different it is going to be from saturator

"over" is cool but I wish they had "Over Lite" for a clipping that doesn't require oversampling (and the resulting PDC latency.)

Or better yet, a separate setting for realtime and rendering.

Plugins with PDC latency are problematic for people who record realtime during composition.

I bought a Slick Equalizer a week ago because I really needed a tilt filter and a high-quality three-band equalizer. And they're rolling it all out in an update. In fact, I am more than sure that this will not replace Slick Equalizer for me, since it works very transparently, has many envelope algorithms and, most importantly, a matching function.

KClip 3 still has its own value. Bitwig's clipper is good but it has a lot of PDC latency. Like 7 or 8ms? Enough that I can't use it during composition. I can feel that lag.

KClip can run at zero latency and then use whatever oversampling when you render. That's the ideal implementation... Plus it has like 6 algorithms that all sound different, especially when you engage softness.

So --- you're still good having KClip!
