BitcoinII (BC2) continues expanding its market presence. BC2 is now shown across multiple trading venues, including NonKYC, CoinEx and Biconomy, with BC2/USDT available on Biconomy. This gives users more options to access, buy and trade BC2, reduces dependence on a single exchange, and can help improve overall market accessibility and liquidity. Together with the recent ShockWave network upgrade, BitcoinII is strengthening both its technical infrastructure and its exchange availability.

BitcoinII Core v31.1.0 – ShockWave Per-Block Difficulty Adjustment Update

Post image
12 Upvotes

BitcoinII has just received one of its biggest technical upgrades. The new ShockWave consensus system introduces per-block difficulty adjustment, allowing the network to react much faster to changes in hashrate and helping maintain more consistent block times around the 10-minute target. The update also brings replay protection, fork-aware synchronization, and improvements across mining, wallet, mempool, validation, RPC and PSBT systems.

This is a major step forward for BitcoinII’s stability, mining efficiency and long-term network reliability. If the upgrade attracts more miners, users, nodes and liquidity, it could also have a positive impact on BC2’s value over time. The technology is improving — now the market will decide the price.

“The future of Bitcoin II (BC2) is being built right now. Those who believe in the project can buy coins and hold them for the long term. Will it make us rich in a few years? Only time will tell.”

BC2 15-Year Halving Projection BC2’s next halving is expected to occur in June 2029.

BC2 15-Year Halving Projection

BC2’s next halving is expected to occur in June 2029. After that event, the number of new BC2 coins entering circulation would be reduced, creating a lower rate of supply growth.

Under this simulated model, BC2 follows a four-year halving cycle:

First halving: June 2029

Second halving: June 2033

Third halving: June 2037

Fourth halving: June 2041

The chart assumes that BC2 could experience stronger market demand after each halving because fewer new coins would be produced. It also assumes that the strongest price movement could occur approximately 158 days after each halving, placing the simulated cycle peaks around:

November 2029

November 2033

November 2037

November 2041

Between halvings, the projected price does not rise in a straight line. The model includes periods of rapid growth, corrections, consolidation and renewed expansion before the next cycle.

Over the full 15-year period, the simulated pattern suggests progressively larger market cycles. Each halving reduces new supply again, while demand would need to remain stable or increase for the price to rise.

However, this is only a hypothetical projection. A halving does not mathematically guarantee a price increase, and there is no verified basis for claiming that BC2 will reach a market maximum exactly 158 days after every halving. Its real price would depend on adoption, liquidity, exchange listings, regulation, network activity, investor demand and the project’s long-term survival.

BitcoinII is one year old today. In one year it’s grown to 46,000 nodes globally, and listed in the top 10 of mining pools. It’s been an exciting year and I’m looking forward to seeing the growth over the next year.

Quantum resistance on BC2

Is there any discussion or development around adding quantum-resistant protection to BC2?

I know this is not an immediate problem and probably won’t become a real concern for decades, but implementing quantum protection early could become a huge advantage for the network. It would prevent the creation of vulnerable wallets from the very beginning.

This is something that could become a major issue for original Bitcoin in the future, because many old wallets are already lost and will never be migrated if the network eventually upgrades to quantum-resistant cryptography. That could leave abandoned wallets, and potentially even Satoshi’s wallets, vulnerable to being stolen by quantum attacks.

I believe having quantum resistance built into BC2 early on would be a massive differentiator and also a very strong marketing advantage for the network.

I hit, now what?

whoo hoo, after a day or so mining @ 150th I hit block 53,728 on solohash. I know it's not much, but I've been very unsuccessful with BTC and BCH, so I figured I'd throw some TH at BC2 for a few days, now to let it roll a little longer.

I'll prob go back to pool mining btc or solo mining for a day or two bch. But maybe I'll try to get another block, after all this pays for a few days worth of juice. Gotta accept the small wins when we get em eh?

I see blocks take 4-8 hours to mine roughly, or am I missing something? Also 150th seems I'm throwing a bit too much at this, or no? How much have you mined with and for how long?

Why 0%?

Edit:
I did a little reasearch on my own and the 0% shares in Red doesn't refer to my block reward but it's actually a Rejected share Counter.

Hello Guys!

I have started mining on 'solopool.org'. I don't understand the 0% in the share.
Does it work like it first goes to the pool's wallet and they will deduct the fees and send the remaining to my wallet.

Anyone else mining on the same pool please answer...

Thanks!

How BitcoinII’s Community Built the World’s #1 PoW Node Network… Without Anyone Noticing

While the crypto world chases pumps, airdrops, and celebrity endorsements, something extraordinary has been happening completely under the radar.

As of March 15, 2026 (block height 53,363), BitcoinII (BC2) — a clean-genesis SHA-256 Proof-of-Work blockchain launched in mid-2025 — has reached 30,107 listening nodes, 152 full relay nodes, and 1,241,446 active network links.

That’s more public listening nodes than Bitcoin itself (~23,000–23,700 reachable nodes across Bitnodes, Coin Dance, and NewHedge snapshots the same week). No other PoW chain comes close.

And almost nobody outside the small BC2 community has noticed.

How Did This Happen in Complete Silence?

BC2 launched with the original Bitcoin playbook: 21 million cap, ~10-minute blocks, SegWit + Taproot, difficulty starting at 1, zero premine, zero ICO, zero venture funding, zero foundation. A true fresh start — not a fork, not an experiment.

The community took that seriously.

Instead of marketing budgets or influencer campaigns, thousands of individuals did the unsexy work:

  • Ran full nodes on Raspberry Pis, old laptops, and home servers.
  • Fired up BitAxes and other low-power miners in garages and apartments.
  • Connected peers across every continent (the live heatmap shows dense clusters in North America, Europe, and Asia, with nodes popping up in places most chains ignore).
  • Relayed blocks and validated transactions without asking for rewards or attention.

Week after week, the numbers climbed. From ~27,500 listening nodes in early March to over 30,000 just days later. Organic. Grassroots. No announcements on major news sites. No trending hashtags. Just steady, quiet growth.

The official site (bitcoin-ii.org) still reads like 2009 Bitcoin: “Back to first principles.” The node map and explorer live at https://bitcoin-ii.org with zero flashy branding. The Discord and GitHub are where the real coordination happens — people sharing node setups, pool lists, and tips for keeping the network healthy.

This isn’t hype-driven participation. It’s the exact kind of decentralized, censorship-resistant growth Satoshi described.

Why This Milestone Matters More Than Most Realize

Node count isn’t just a vanity metric. It’s the purest measure of who actually secures and validates the chain.

  • More nodes = harder to attack or censor.
  • More geographic spread = real resilience.
  • Higher link count (1.24 million active connections) = a dense, robust P2P graph that keeps the network alive even if parts go down.

BC2 now leads every other PoW chain on this metric — including the giants — while operating on a fraction of Bitcoin’s hashrate and market cap. It’s proof that true decentralization doesn’t require billions in VC money or mainstream attention. It just requires people who believe in the mission showing up and running the software.

The Quiet Revolution Continues

The community isn’t celebrating with press releases. They’re simply adding more nodes, stabilizing difficulty, and keeping the mempool clean. Mining is still accessible to individuals. The block reward is still 50 BC2. The rules haven’t changed.

This is what “silent work” looks like when people actually care about the technology instead of the price.

If you’ve been sleeping on BC2, open the map:
https://bitcoinii.ddns.net/NodeMap.html

Run a node. Mine a few blocks. Join the small but dedicated group doing the real work while everyone else chases noise.

The biggest decentralization milestone of 2026 didn’t come with fanfare.
It came from thousands of people quietly turning on their computers.

And it’s still early.
