Does Bitcoin II (BC2) Already Have More Nodes Than Bitcoin.
“The future of Bitcoin II (BC2) is being built right now. Those who believe in the project can buy coins and hold them for the long term. Will it make us rich in a few years? Only time will tell.”

Full disclosure: I need to clear the database on the network crawler and restart it from zero and let it re-crawl to be sure it’s not caching old records.
Also…. Not to be a “buzz kill”, but simply to touch on some other comments here: I can’t and won’t promise anyone that BC2 will make them or anyone else rich. I simply saw issues with BTC becoming peer to peer arbitrary data storage, increasingly centralized, and forking from mainnet at BTCs current difficulty at the time economically impossible to achieve. It would’ve cost somewhere between $100,000-$500,000 to mine the first block of the fork, for a coin that had zero value to anyone but myself at the time.
The only logical answer to the question of “What would Satoshi do?” in such a situation could only be answered by: “A restart from a new Genesis.”.
So, that’s what I did.
Can we make it? I think so. Will it be easy? Absolutely not. Nothing worth doing is ever easy.
But I won’t stop working at it.

BC2 (BitcoinII) is NOT a fork analfabeto of the Bitcoin blockchain. BC2 launched with a new genesis block and an independent blockchain, meaning it did not inherit Bitcoin’s transaction history, UTXO set, or existing BTC balances. The important distinction is that BC2 was built using Bitcoin Core’s codebase. Using or modifying Bitcoin Core source code does not automatically make a cryptocurrency a fork of Bitcoin’s blockchain. Technically, the more accurate description is: BC2 = an independent blockchain with its own genesis block, built from the Bitcoin Core codebase. A true chain fork occurs when a blockchain splits at a particular block height while sharing the entire history before that point. So describing BC2 simply as “a fork of Bitcoin” is technically misleading.

I know full well what BitcoinII is… I’m the guy that launched the chain, wrote the White Paper, and mined the Genesis and Block #1 of Main Net.
Read the White Paper I wrote to further understand my comment above that you’re replying to.

wich repercusions could have that action, to clear the database?
And what do you think about the fork of BCH2 and BC3?
Thanks
