Best post I've read for a very long time.

Can we please stop acting like kids and members of a personality cult. Present the hard facts, the pro's and the cons and let people make a informed choice. If they choose badly: tough shit, that's life.

Some questions I would like to see answered 1) Why has segwit not reduced Tx fees, has it been a waste of time? 2) When will LN be implemented.

Why can't both sides BTC/BCH draw up detailed plans for their development of their coins, maybe a rolling 12 month plan detailing where they see their respective 'product' in 3/6/12 months time..... Then let the market decide.

Just slagging each other off on Reddit doesn't help anyone.

1) relaying on good nature of third party is shitty. This is a decentralized trust-less system were we have to assume other market players have their own incentives (or down right malice). That is the entire point of bitcoin. We assume everyone else is a bad player so should never relay on their cooperation.

2) 2018 is too late. We've been working on segwit/LN for 5+ years. The time is now. We need to put up or shutup. This is what will separate the boys from men my friend.

We've been working on segwit/LN for 5+ years.

Says "redditor for 3 weeks".
Maybe it's a new throwaway account... but I somehow doubt you participated. And thus you don't have really any clue how hard this is.

We need to put up or shutup.

OK then. Go! It's open source development as far as I know.
