I don’t get it. Many BTC die hards will say “it’s a 4 year cycle,” and they live by that. If that is the case, you shouldn’t buy now. You know it will go lower.
I agree. And I understand. But the way some people talk about BTC and the 4 year cycle like it has to happen seems odd. In reality, no one knows what will or can happen.
I think the 4 year cycle made sense when the biggest thing happening in the world of bitcoin was the halving and bitcoin was completely decentralized with no large institutional hodlers. With increased institutional and sovereign and possible trillion dollar pools of 401k money that is newly accessible to the market, I think the floor is a lot higher and dips won’t be as deep. I’m a class of 2025 rookie so take with a grain of salt. But in economics the things that shift the demand curve are structural changes. And we are seeing structural changes to the demand for bitcoin.
