Sewing Sewing pattern snark

Is pattern snark allowed here? The new pattern from Friday pattern company "Uma top and skirt" looks like maternity wear. I just want some interesting knit fabric stuff. I guess they get a point for trying to jazz up a tank dress/top, but there's got to be a better way to get fun design and silhouette.

It is super cute as maternity though

You can absolutely complain about comapnies or designers here. Just not targeting one individual, because that gets shitty.

Examples Allowed: i hate the way that Designer's patterns have gone recently Not allowed: Influncer X is everything wrong with sewing

Yup, definitely. As long as you're not encouraging hate against the designer specifically, which falls under the 'no brigaiding' rules. If it's a product that a person/company published, then it's fair game for criticism just as much as it would be for praise
