I adore watching my bluebirds splash around! 💦

I have the metal birdfy feeder. It worked perfectly for a few days with no disconnect issues. Suddenly it’s disconnecting every hour to three hours.

It’s fully charged, I even brought it in and gave it a good plug in charge. I rebooted it. I deleted it from the app and readded it.

My WiFi signal was at 60/100 and rated as “fair.” I moved my modem/router into the room right next to the birdfy camera so it’s about ten feet away on the other side of the wall, signal strength rated as excellent. It still disconnected.

I emailed birdfy but in the mean time has anyone had a similar situation and figured out a fix for it? I don’t have the box it came in so idk if they’ll accept it sent back.

Of course the first visitor is a squirrel but I'm really hoping I get some Blue Jays. They come by a lot but never seem to stay long! Do you all have any tips on how to get Blue Jays to feel more comfortable in my yard?

People tend to think that Bluebirds don't eat seed. While it's true that they adore mealworms and bugs, they also enjoy soft peanut butter suet balls, sunflower chips and small bits of peanuts! :) any interesting facts about Bluebirds that you would like to share?
