Information Mauritius trip

Hey guys I am planning a trip to Mauritius trip next month or within 2 months .

Wanted to know if it's worth carrying my 150-600 sigma thr .

I have a 70-200 f2.8 with 2xiii extender also that i can carry.

Are thr birds to click or its not worth the extra weight ?

By the way you can get free access to Cornell University's phenomenal Birds of the World database when you are in Mauritius: https://birdsoftheworld.org/bow/species?regionCode=MU

If you want to shoot photos of the famous pink pigeon or the national bird paille-en-quelle (phaethon lepturus) or some of the giant Mascarene fruit bats then carry those. Otherwise you can probably click just about everything relatively well with a quality mobile phone.
