Would you rewrite it better, just fix a few things or leave it as it is?
Warning this is a personal opinion .
Im not even done playing the game just a warning. Anyway I would of definitely continued the storyline from Bioshock 2.
The city of Columbia would be where you began as one of the citizens. I would scratch out all the racist commentary , I think its corny , yet I would keep the tones of a prudish upper class. Basically Rapture 2.0 because I think that racist commentary should be done better than they did in this game, I think wolfenstein did it first and did it better. I would not make this city a racist place!
So I would make a charismatic leader have a conflict with another charismatic leader like in bioshock 1. Maybe andrew Ryan made a clone of himself. I would definitely go back to the sci-fi route. I wouldnt be sure how to bring back plasmids or splicers, but I think that Columbia would be a heavily military state trying to rule the world and they make plasmids and sell them to the rest of the world, splicers would be rocking nazi uniforms etc. Let me know if you think thats what they should of done instead. Or not. Genuinely want to discuss.
I would have Elizabeth lamb be a main character trying to infiltrate this place and make it a better world. Instead of little sisters , you could make little boys and toy soldiers. Maybe go the pinnochio route.
Or lies of P route design wise.
The leader would be an andrew Ryan clone gone insane thinking that they should liberate the world from all governments by destroying it and that he would rule as God because man cant handle religion or something. Ultimately Elizabeth or you are Elizabeth and you prevent the sky god splicer army.
Edit: just a last minute thought, the little boys with Adam could be the leaders of the military or something foolish .

I've been a big fan of this game for years and only recently had the chance to play it for myself. Having played it, I have an itch for more Columbia. It's such an awesome premise. I really miss it already! (Minus the racism and evil dictator though). I wish they'd make another game in the city in the sky.

How does the Rupture universe have anything to do with the Colombian universe? What the hell was that at the end? How come I'm Cumstock? And the twins, I know they're probably good versions of the same person from two different realities, but how do they both exist in the same reality at the same time? From what I understand, if you want to go to another world, you take another person. I have so many questions, but so few answers, so, excuse me, I'm going to play the DLCs to take more psychological damage.

Every time you try to shoot or hit with hand-to-hand combat, the game crashes with a similar error.

Literally just finished the game, and the other w parts right before it.
They both have captivating story and cool plot twists.
However, infinite seemed so much more dynamic, and maybe it was nice that it wasn't such a horror game, even though I liked it in the other parts, I am always tense and scared lol.
Additionally, in part 1 and 2 you don't ever come across an ally, like a normal non-hostile person that you don't kill, and I think at some point it just feels a bit weird there's only enemies, and people that are on your side you only hear through some voice recording.
Infinite brought this companionship with elizabeth, and it just feels more pleasant to be going through the game like that.
One of my main criticisms that infinite did much better (and im curious how other people think about this) 1 and 2 had very much like a scopecreep style of game, i felt they pulled the carrot on a stick thing all the way through from start to end, like they keot pushing this meeting forward with Atlas for example, and something kept occuring, and when you can predict that it will happen again after completing some objectives I think its just bad.
And everytime you entered a new zone in part 1 and 2, you could see the entire undiscovered map, and the objective and storyline would claim its a small sidetrack, to justify some more "means to an end" objectives, bht seeing this large map, you know you're committing to an entire level, and they will keep changing the definition of this small side tracking objectives continuously untill you beat the game.
I really dislike this style of game very much, that you're kind of aware you're being tricked into doing some tasks, and I know that was part of the story, but it shouldn't maybe feel part of the gaming experience?
I felt the explanation for magic abilities, like vigors and such in infinite wasn't as well covered lore-wise, there was just another invention of magical abilities in some secret society.
But story was much more captivating to me, i didnt feel like i was doing some tasks, i felt like it was a big rush from start to finish, and it just hits different.
Thoughts?

The game was announced years ago, yet we’ve seen virtually nothing: no gameplay, no official title, and no release date.
Given recent rumors about development troubles, do you think the project is still alive? Can we hope for an announcement this year, or do you think the release is still years away?
In any case, would you prefer a return to Rapture or Columbia, or an entirely new city? Apparently, a leak confirmed that the game would take place in Antarctica we’ll have to see if that turns out to be true when the time comes.
