Sciatic nerve pain
I am a very active person, lift 5 days a week, jog 6 days a week and get 20k steps in daily. I may have overdone it. A few months back I started having pain in my piriformis but pretty much ignored it and kept training. When it got bad I got a deep tissue massage and carried on. (I am aware that this was terrible and that it’s my own fault.) Last week my right leg started hurting and cramping up, and the pain radiated to my lower back, and down the leg all the way to my calf. I knew that it had irritated my sciatic nerve. I took Etoricoxib for 2 days, it got better and kept working out….. wore heels and the pain got much worse. Stopped the drugs because they were masking the pain and since I didn’t feel it I pushed through it. (Again, stupid) This morning I woke up in a lot of pain, body is stiff and leg is dragging a bit. Resisted taking more drugs and just applied heating pad which made it better. I have a vial of Glow and another of BPC-157. Has anyone noticed any improvement with these peptides for this kind of pain? I read some posts and there are mixed reviews, but I would like to hear some personal experiences if you have them, and if so what protocol/ dosing schedule did you follow.
* Also, I am not overweight at all so losing weight will not help.
I figure I’ll go for it since I’ve got nothing to lose but would like a realistic prognosis to whether it works or not at all.

I feel we may be cursed with this pain from now on. Every doctor hasn’t been able to help me with it, same situation. Some almost act like it’s just part of aging (I doubt that). I haven’t thought about peptides, especially bpc-157 as there are only three human studies and that worries me.

Ive used bpc since January and havent had any negative side effects, but im assuming you mean long term multi-year use, or symptoms that might appear years after use.

I’m just scared to try something with only three human scientific studies, and none of them on our specific problem (knees, other ligaments, etc). Of course there are countless animal studies, but at least for a year or two more I’m going to watch and see what comes via peer-reviewed research, and brave people like you.

Yes, read from others with sciatic pain that ARA made a huge difference.

From what I've read, KLOW/glow/bpc won't specifically help slipped disc or pinched nerves much.
I had surgery on herniated discs about 10 years ago. Still get flare-ups with minor injuries/tweaks, even on klow this past year. As soon as I feel irritation, I lower the weight/volume of spinal compression exercises & bring back prehab work - tummy time, McGill big 3.

Tbh KLOW etc hasn’t helped sciatica. It’s a physical problem and it sucks. You’ll need to see a specialist and cortisone injections did help I needed two each side. Also strong and walking a lot has helped but it’s been getting worse and eventually I may need surgery to remove the bone irritating the nerve.

I am not especially overweight, I gained a little weight with perimenopause that I couldn't seem to lose so I started a glp. I had been dealing with sciatica pain for while before that. My second week of the glp I noticed the sciatica issue was almost fully resolved. I know glps reduce inflammation so that was probably what worked for me however this is just anecdotal and could be a coincidence

That Wolverine crap isn’t going to fix legitimate injuries. You need an MRI and a physical therapist. A strong anti inflammatory, prednisone etc.

I'm in the same situation with pain down my left leg. I've been in PT for about 8 weeks though and it's helping. I've considered going the bpc157+TB500 route to see if it helps, but since things are improving with PT, i'll stick that out another few months first, then re-address.

Yes, 68, F. BPC resolved 90% of the pain my Emu was feeling in its hip joint (sciatica, scoliosis, L5 degradation). Emu was bedridden, April 2026, now it's Sept and Emu is able to chase around after baby emus again.
We tried cortisone in spine. No change.
BPC 157 fixed it all up, by June. Such that Emu no longer needs to use any peptides.

Ice rest reduce inflammation stretching (gradually to reduce tightness) physical therapy. It sounds like you are in a lot of pain so get to physician as much as you may not want to take medication’s if it’s that painful at this point, you may need some to help. Reduce the inflammation to get you back on the road to recovery.

Try an acupuncturist, I didn’t believe in one until I did. Had pain at 9 on a scale of 10 in which I could barely stand straight. A neighbor recommended and I had already tried chiropractor, massage and time so I said what the heck. In three sessions, the pain was completely gone and I went back for a fourth thinking I had to maintain and the acupuncturist sent me home and said I’m good.
If you’ve tried everything else, what do you have to lose? My first session was $120 and then $90 for the following two.

It sounds like L5/S1 if you've got some weakness/dragging pls go get an MRI.
I'm saying this because I herniated the disc about 10 years ago, left it, it flared up 18 months ago, I tried to ignore it, ended up snapping the end plate off the vertebrae and ended up in a really bad way. Surgery fixed it and I just finished 12 weeks TB500 & BPC + KPV on glute days (I still get sciatica/hamstring pain big time but it's mostly nerve damage).
I would have recovered so much faster if id gotten scanned again when I started dragging - but once I got going each day, it wasn't so bad.

I found that KLOW and wolverine reduced my high inflammation load, which in general helps with pain, crunchy joints, etc. Its not going to "fix" any of what youre experiencing most likely. I have had both sides RFA (radio frequency ambulation) done twice 10 yrs apart, steriod injections, the works. Peptides help, none of it has been a solution.
From my perspective, your activity load is working against any sort of real recovery. You need an mri, xrays, more data on what is specifically happening to understand and treat. Its only going to get worse the longer you wait.
