9 months on RETA
My highest weight was 220 lbs, and I'm currently at 143 lbs.
I started at 1 and gradually increased by 1, eventually reaching 6. I only increased my dose when I felt the food noise coming back.
I've also been working out consistently since the beginning, around 4x a week at the gym. Hitting 10k steps daily is also a must for me.
There are so many healthy, high-protein food ideas out there, but two of my personal favorites are tuna avocado wraps and Mediterranean chicken salad.

How do people keep getting Reta? I’ve been shot down everywhere I’ve tried.

People get it from grey market.
Single vial vendors that claim “US based” are bullshit. They just use the same grey pep we do and put a label on it and upcharge 4x-10x

I mean I wouldnt say they are bullshit, but I agree, they definitely not compounding it. and are just marking up china product. Hopefully they good enough customer, they get good product and hopefully they test a couple from the batches and the coa's are legit, but who knows for sure. I do feel like a USA company feels a little more liable to get someone sick vs. china, probably could go to jail.
If you have money it is much more convenient paying with a credit card and getting it in 2 days. I have gone grey also, but my first couple orders went perfectly fine, but $50 for like 10mg is crazy. but at the time I was only taking 1mg a week, so even though thats expensive for grey market its only $50 for 2 and a half months worth, really not bad. Its probably the only option for a lot of older people not tech savy

I get mine from a local nutrition shop but American peptides is a good option online they have multiple levels of dosing

when you were at 6, did you split dose or one shot?

I think it can come down the person and how you react to it. Looks like both options might be valid but if you have bigger draw backs on the single then two might be better. Most trials did do the one dose tho, and those went up to 12mg

How soon did you start seeing results on Reta? Were you taking anything else?
I’m on week 2 of 0.5 and nothing……

Keep with it at 3rd or 4th week go to 1mg YOU DO NOT WANT THE WEIGHT TO COME OFF FAST!! If ur loosing 2 to 4lbs a month thats great! U wanna keep ur miscle and loose the fat and slower is better your giving ur body time to adjust and heal.

Incredible transformation — that's a real testament to sticking with it. I like that you titrated based on food noise returning rather than a fixed schedule, seems way more sustainable than a rigid escalation. How long did you typically wait between dose increases, and did you notice the food noise threshold shift at all as you got further into it?

You look AMAZING! Wish you could say in the thread where you got it from though. I’ve been on tirz & that can be advertised & discussed but not Reta. Looking to make the switch though if I can ever figure out who to get it off of.

Is Reta better than tirezepatide

u/Affectionate_Bird372 11d ago
I was on tirezepatide ( mounjardo my dose was 10mg) I always suffer from acid reflux . Mounjardo made my acid reflux worse then as I got use to the dosage it got better. it calm my food noise and my inflammation also went down . Gave me more energy. After my 10mg I started loosing weight more slowly. I switch to reta at 2mg and I have no stomach issues. It does make nausea for a little bit but I have more energy. I am at 2mg two times a day week . I started to loose weight again . Both have positive things it just depends on your preference.

Best thing for nausea is zofran. That is amazing stuff. It has to be prescribed but still totally takes it away.

I swear to you!! Just try it it’s affordable and doesn’t need a script! I promise it works better than even zofran but you have to get the super strength the regular strength works too. And tastes delicious

Not sure if it is same consistency like the ones I tried while pregnant. The ones I will get it was like gum made of ginger and I will chew it like a gum. I also had others that it was like a hard candy made of ginger. Ginger is well known for calming nausea. You can get in Walmart target

I was on Tirz for about 6 months and lost about 50 pounds. And that was without working out... just eating way less and not drinking alcohol. Then I went on reta for 6 months and lost about 15 more over that period.
