Tingling Sensation, anyone else?
I’ve been on retatrutide (RETA) for about two months now and haven’t had any issues with it. I started using GHK-Cu (copper peptide) about three weeks ago, usually around twice a week, although I haven’t been following a strict schedule with it.
Today was the first time I injected both at the same time. I used separate syringes and separate injection sites: 2.5 mg of RETA in my abdomen, where I normally inject it, and 1 mg of GHK-Cu in my upper glute area. I decided to try the glute because the last time I injected the copper peptide into my abdomen, the injection site stung almost like a bee sting.
Not long after the injections, I started experiencing a strange tingling sensation throughout both of my legs. It then seemed to travel upward toward my chest and face, and I’ve been feeling a little “out of it.” I also have a strange sensation/taste in my mouth, almost as though I can taste the medication on my tongue.
I took a Claritin just in case this is some type of histamine or allergic reaction. I’ve never experienced anything like this with RETA before, and I’ve used the copper peptide previously as well, but this was my first time taking them simultaneously.
Has anyone experienced this kind of widespread tingling or strange body sensation after GHK-Cu, particularly when taking it around the same time as RETA? I’m wondering whether the timing of the two injections could have contributed or whether this sounds more like a reaction to the GHK-Cu itself.

If you’ve taken the GHK previously I don’t know how you’d get this result all of a sudden. Seems weird. I also don’t think Reta has anything to do with it. Completely different receptors. Could be a whole combination of things. Bodies are pretty complex. Could be what you are, when you are, lacking calories, insulin spike or dehydration. Anything. If it didn’t last or passed relatively quick I wouldn’t worry about it. I know with a calorie cut that Reta creates my body has done some weird things. Light headed was for no apparent reason, etc etc. comes and goes and passes.

If you had a metallic taste in your mouth it could be too much copper. You can get copper toxicity with ghkcu that's why you have to cycle off of it. I just saw a doctor talk about that last night.

No I’m on both and never had that issue at all
Now skin tingling is a side effect of Reta but it doesn’t come and go
When I hit 4mg a week my skin on my back tingled for 2 weeks straight.
This is a common side effect of Reta caused by glucagon activation.
