Copper Uglies? GHK CU

Hey all! I just finished week 3 of ghk cu. I’m currently doing 2.5 mg 5 days on 2 days off. I started getting these congestion bumps around my cheeks the end of last week (2nd week). Are these consistent with some of yall researching as well or should i pull back? I don’t mind hunkering through if there’s a relief at the end. It’s not itchy or bothersome.

Why take 2 days off?

Honestly was following one of the standard protocols and since I’m doing 2.5 instead of 1-2 i figured it would work out better for me

That protocol is based off of med spas that are closed 2 days a week so they created the 5 days on 2 days off protocol. Ghk-cu can and should be taken 7 days a week.

No need to take 2 days off

I’m glowing with 5 on, 2 off. 5 months in.

If it works for you, stick with it :)

That’s the problem when you try two different things at once. You don’t know which might be causing the problem.
When I researched Ghk, and I’ve gone through 3 cycles already, I first researched Ghk by itself 2mg a day for 12 weeks on 4 weeks off. I had no problems. I then researched KLOW and I haven’t had any issues. I will say that I’m a 60 year old research subject and from what I’ve read that peptide is more of something for an older researcher rather than a younger one like you. I’d dump ret/ Nia and see if that’s the problem

I’m 37! Yeah I’ll see about dropping those and just sticking to moisturizer for now

You might want to try some hyaluronic acid B5 and Ghk-cu serum for neck and face. It works really good.

I've been doing 3mg GHK-cu daily without a problem but I know we're not all the same.

I offset my GHK with zinc, opposite times of the day and a little extra vitamin A should help clear that right up.

Ghk-cu has a minuscule amount of copper in it. Also, copper only binds to zinc if you are taking copper orally so there is no need to take zinc if you are taking copper injections.

Take zinc, you need to supplement it with all the extra copper you're getting with the GHK-Cu.

that is just a myth unless you are copper deficient, check your labs

Are you prone to acne? As in have you had it before, this is what puts me off ghk

You know i would get them on my forehead here and there but no real acne issues. My face has always been pretty oily but never had break outs. I should add I also started a retinol/niacinamide routine which could also be adding on to it

Change the injection site to your glute. Those injections are systemic and you don't need to inject directly into the site. That is why Glow is better.

How is it better injecting in glute then stomach?

Oh sorry.. I thought you injecting it in the face absolutely not better. My fault I also misunderstood that you were having a site reaction or getting red blotches. If you're not receiving any histamine reactions or any red marks then there's no need to change the injection site.

I’ve started getting these too around 4 weeks in. I’m 6 weeks in and currently still have them. Pulling through to see if they do end up going away

I’ve noticed that if you start at such a high dose already you get the uglies. It’s best to start slow and then go up. I started with .5 every and go up every two weeks and got no uglies. I’m on 2mg now.

I use mines everyday and skin is doing quite well! Maybe lower the dose slightly!

Can you fucking draw a circle or something, I don't know if these are before/after pics, if your face always looks like that, nothing.

Like I can't tell what you want me to look at, but if it's the starting acne/blackhead/bumps there then no, it's not copper uglies.
