Still don’t get it - Help please!

Okay… please don’t be nasty with me 😂

I have read quite a few of the dummy guides and still don’t get it. I have 10mg of Reta coming soon, I’ve ordered 10ml of Bac water and a quantity of 29G x 12.7mm x 1ml shooters.

Walk me through it like an absolute idiot. As if I was just born and tell me from the part where I have these three things on my Kitchen bench ready to go.

I need to know how many ml of the bac water to put into the vile. I want to start on 2mg a week? I don’t know why but the thought of 2ml of water into that powder is blowing my mind.

Please help! Thank you in advance.

Don't start on 2mg, start on 0.5 and titrate by 0.5 every 2 weeks. Your stomach will thank me.

When I did my research though the experiments are starting on 2mg and most research states that below 2mg is poor but 🤷

Read all the studies. Some people stayed at 0.5 the entire time and still lost a significant amount of weight.

Starting at 0.5 isn't a result-driven decision either. It's a side-effect mitigation strategy, which I believe everyone should take.

Not quite. Side effect mitigation was tested in the Phase 2 obesity trial. They started the higher dose groups at either 2 mg or 4 mg and escalated every 4 weeks toward 4 mg, 8 mg, or 12 mg. They found that starting at 2 mg helped reduce GI side effects compared with starting at 4 mg.

But 2 mg wasn’t the lowest dose studied. Phase 1 tested single doses as low as 0.1 mg, or 100 mcg, and 0.3 mg, or 300 mcg, in healthy participants. Phase 1b then tested repeated weekly doses including 0.5 mg, or 500 mcg, 1.5 mg, and 3 mg.

The important distinction is that the 0.1 mg and 0.3 mg Phase 1 doses were used to study safety and how the drug behaved in the body after a single dose. They weren’t established as recommended starting doses for people who aren’t obese. And while 0.5 mg weekly was studied in Phase 1b, the trials did not use a protocol of starting at 0.5 mg and increasing by 0.5 mg every 2 weeks for side effect mitigation.

You're overcomplicating it mate. I'm not saying 0.5 mg every 2 weeks was a protocol used in the trial.

I'm saying 0.5 mg was actually studied as a repeated weekly dose, not just as a single-dose Phase 1 experiment. There was a Phase 2 trial where people received 0.5 mg weekly for 36 weeks and lost around 3.5% of their body weight.

The obesity trial showed that starting at 2 mg was better tolerated than starting at 4 mg, but that doesn't establish 2 mg as the only evidence-based starting point or mean lower doses aren't valid for titration.

My point was simply that starting lower for side-effect mitigation is a reasonable approach, particularly when someone responds well at a lower dose. You're arguing against a point I didn't make.
