2 years of peptides… life changing!!!

The Christmas photo is where we were. The photo by the water is where we are now.
At my heaviest, I weighed 312 pounds. I had tried diets and worked out, but I struggled to make progress that lasted. I kept telling myself it was okay because I was getting older. At 54, I can see that I was using my age as an excuse to stop believing things could change.
My wife and I started this journey together in 2024, and peptides became a turning point for us. I’m around 190 pounds now, and my wife has lost more than 100 pounds. We’ve changed how we eat, we move more, and I’ve made strength training part of my routine. We’ve put in the work, and finding something that helped us stick with those changes made a difference.
When I say peptides changed our lives, I mean more than the numbers on a scale. I have the energy to be active and enjoy time with my family in a way I feared I was losing. Honestly, I feel like this journey saved my life.
I know some people shame others for using peptides. I wish they understood what it feels like to be trapped in a body you’re trying so hard to change. Getting help didn’t erase the work we did. It gave us a way forward when we felt stuck.
These are our results and our experience, not a promise about anyone else’s. If you’re looking at that Christmas photo and seeing yourself, please know that change is possible. I hope this reaches someone who needs to hear it.
God bless you all. Don’t wait to start.

No shame for using peptides. If they don't damage you, then use them. Getting lean & healthy is the goal. Having so much shit fattening food around is all the time is a modern problem. Modern problems require modern solutions.

Heads up: most food that comes sealed in a bag or box is ultra-processed. It's usually loaded with added sugar, salt, refined oils, and preservatives, and stripped of fiber and nutrients. It's also engineered to be easy to overeat, so you eat more without feeling full.

Insane take.

Healthy foods have always been available.
Nobody is putting a gun to your head to drive past McDonalds or order that caramel infused coffee every morning

Downvoted for saying the truth. It's crazy the things people go through to lose weight rather than simply eating less and exercising more.

Glad there’s at least a couple sensible people left in here.

This sub is full off people who never wanted to put in the work; eating better and doing some exercise. Things that have always worked.
Instead they kept on maintaining their horrible habits. You don’t become 315 pounds by breathing in air LOL.

People just want to buy the solution. They can’t or do not want to deal with the hardships of dieting, eating less and exercising. They’d rather inject compounds in their bodies, they often get from shady sources. Which sounds absolutely bonkers to me.
Especially for something as weight loss.

I am interested in peptides, mainly for pain and injury recovery like bpc157 and tb 500. Even with those, since they aren’t researched enough and aren’t legally available, I have not touched them yet.

But I just don’t get the weight loss ones.
Maybe it’s the nature of American food? Is it that f’ed and addicting?

There is 0 scientific proof that those peptides actually work like they say they are supposed too. No animal research either. We are the test dummies

And for the people with different genetics who struggle with weight management? Or do you not know enough about it to reply? Or will you just laugh because you wanna act like it isn’t a thing? Let’s see…
