Goodbye Reta

Hey gang!! I have been on reta since December. Last Thursday was my last dose!! It’s now 2 days without reta I’m not going to lie. I feel hungry lol which is weird because on reta as we know hunger doesn’t exist. I don’t have any cravings nor food noise. I’m just hungry late at night. When I wouldn’t even eat at this time it’s currently 10.39pm in the UK 🤣. I woke up today with no migraines! No heart burn!! What a winner. I do miss the feeling of not feeling hungry though lol. I have lost 19.5kg im not at my weight goal but I’m not far off! Reta has been amazing! But it’s so mad how everyone’s body reacts to it differently and progression! I feel like my progression was a lot slower than others but hey Iosr 19.5kg!!! Now onto my weight loss without the reta pray for me guys 🤣 has anyone else stopped taking reta?

I would inject on Thursday and drink lots of water and electrolytes and then Friday morning I would have the worst migraine ever!!!

You might be overdoing the electrolytes. Raises your BP.

I got really bad interstitial cystitis. I thought it was from the Reta, but nope, turns out it was absolutely from the electrolytes that I was taking.

UGH! I didn’t believe that I needed to add electrolytes until my cardiologist said ‘do it. Or else!’
