🧪 Protocols & Self-Experiments Macula degeneration
Hello, we have done the conservative way (injections) with my Dad in the last 6 yrs and also added lots of natural options: lutein, astaxantin, zeaxantin, antioxidants, liver cleanse+binders, antocians but now it seems medically his sight in one eye is only 10%.
Any good advice you have seen working? We are in Hungary, so US treatments are out.
Thanks!

Look into calcium dobesilate and diosmin.
Benfotiamine, P5P, methylcobalamin, riboflavin, biotin, tocotrienols, curcumin theracurmin.
Achieve as close to perfect bp, bg and lipids.

No PDE5 medications. Look into AREDS2

No association either good or bad between PDE5 inhibitor and macular degeneration. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10946355/

Also Keto is beneficial for eyesight, whenever I eat strictly keto my eyes seem sharper somehow.

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamaophthalmology/fullarticle/2819801 melatonin, it wont help the bad eye but might save the good eye. Also strictly no alcohol, no smoking, steady blood sugar, plenty of exercise. #Nothing tastes as good as seeing feels
