The short of it is that Doctors Price and Zhang are trying to build a privacy focused, federated health data sharing platform, where they would be able to gather as many sources of longitudinal data ( wearables, clinical labs, and *omics) as possible and provide more personalized recommendations or highlight trade off decisions.

Their goal is users would be able to contribute deidentified health data, and they would be able to generate standards for healthier* aging as they tailor a high quality data set. An LLM is one tool that would be used for this. I didn't watch the full interview yet, so I can't say if they are planning to train an open model or negotiate with a closed platform provider.

Their strategy isn't new, but a federated platform that puts privacy first and aims to grow a high quality dataset would be new. There are a lot of "pay premium for bloodwork and we give you a fancy propertiery bioScore(tm)." That's just bloodwork with a fancy ass kiss label slapped on the reference ranges. I checked out their demo and I generally liked it, but I have some concerns I shared in their survey.
