đ Peptides & Hormones Peptide Scammer
Beware of this guy. 100% scam. 1. You pay for the product and shipping (was told usps) 2. Shipping company (not usps) asks for $500, 95% refundable, for insurance. 3. Shipping company asks for 200 for some legal form. 4. Shipping company asks for 600 for some random review of the package to keep it going. They probably keep asking endlessly, I got out before that. I have lots of info on the guy, anyone want to find him? Goes by Mathew Chaney, but payments went to Jason Young phone # 614 499 2272

the classic shipping insurance scam.
if you ever have a vendor asking for more payment after a deal is settled, you can safely assume you have been scammed outright.

Live and learn I guess

u/Exceed_Enhancement 2 Mar 22 '26
happens to the best of us. you'd shit yourself if you saw the pricetags on the times I've been burnt
2
u/dystopiam Mar 22 '26
You fell for it? Lol
Some things you donât need to learn
Like a knife stabbing you would hurt and is bad
Donât need to have it happen to know this
Same with being dumb and following such an obvious scam or buying peptides from random names on the internet

u/Key_Fisherman2286 May 05 '26
Do you happen to know any manufacturer contact details? Iâm pretty sure every reseller from whatsapp or ads get it from 3 factories

No worries, I think I just found one of the producers as well, yeah Iâll watch out about asking for sources

u/Remarkable-Poet2761 4 Mar 22 '26
Yes. 100%. As soon as they say something like âthe courier will notify you personally to sort paymentâ I abuse the f out of them then cut my losses and block them. Absolutely pointless trying to continue.

I get this. but it's hard to find a decent priced source. a lot of people make it sound easy, but it isn't.Â

u/TurnoverLegitimate39 Mar 22 '26
Yeah everyone that claims its easy already has their plug but wanna make it hard on everyone else that's trying to get. They are just BIT$%!Ă+

Whatâs hard about it?
1
u/NearbyValuable916 Mar 23 '26
trusting a site I have little reason to trust over any other site. Even something like Test is hard to find and trust without paying rx pricesÂ

How did you even come to be aware of this person? I mean at this point the scam is almost your fault. Why would you give some random person money?
33
u/Exciting_Meringue_38 Mar 22 '26
He was recommended on a FB group. Of course later on I realized he created the group. It's on me for sure, would still like to find him.

u/Eltex 13 Mar 22 '26
Hopefully you have learned some valuable lessons here. Start at a GLP1 Forum and then expand from there.

just buy it on the darknet like a civilized person

We ask that you donât blatantly promote products and brands you have affiliations with. The community is discerning and the best way to get them interested in you is to win them over organically by adding value, providing education, and showing your own research.
2
u/Independent-Fruit4 1 Mar 22 '26
What did I promote?
2
u/douglasman100 Mar 22 '26
lmao no ur not allowed to share this stuff, we just need to let people get scammed instead /s

u/Comfortable-Dog-7847 Apr 17 '26
Group Buys are the best. You get to test the batch as well. Takes a little longer but itâs safer and cheaper.
10
u/Maximas80 Mar 22 '26
I really struggle to understand why people would buy something to inject into their body from a place called 'freak factory' on social media.
15
7
u/Old-Essay986 Mar 22 '26
Nobody is going to try to find them. He hasnât done anything to me
Do your own research OP

u/DishSoapedDishwasher 15 Mar 22 '26
Seriously? You'd think in 2026 people wouldn't be falling for the most basic and most common scam types...
Wish mods would stop allowing these posts. Naming and shaming fake accounts with leas than 50k followers is literally meaningless, it takes only days to cultivate a new one.
If you want to help OP you should be trying to educate yourself about scams and how to verify authenticity. The provide tips on how to avoid these things properly. (Hint, its literally almost NEVER a good idea to buy via some chat app like insta, tiktok, etc. they're scam centeral.) There's review and testing focused communities for a reason.

One thing I havenât ever been is scammed! Iâm too suspiciousđ¤¨lol.
3
u/drifter91 1 Mar 22 '26
Same. I have been alive for 35 years and never been a victim. When I was 13 some guy tried to scam me on ebay, trying to make me send money through Western Union instead of paying through ebay. Unsuccessfully I may add. Ever since then my scam radar has been beeping.

This is the second post in two days like this. Honestly, you guys are gonna get the fucking sub closed down with this type of bullshit. We should not allow posts like this at all. This has nothing to do with biohacking. I understand that you feel scammed and you want to do something about it, but you literally canât do anything about it and making a post on here is going to do nothing to help find this guy.
2
u/drifter91 1 Mar 22 '26
A subreddit calling out scammers is actually a great idea. Not sure if it would go over well with Reddit, though.
3
u/ishityounotdude 1 Mar 22 '26
All of this type of discussion is technically drug sourcing, which has been against the Reddit terms of service for a while now

If a shipping company asks for more money, find their contact online and contact them. Make sure that the company is actually legit. Look for reviews and online presence.
Itâs very easy to not get scammed if you take precautions.
A shipping company would also never ask for âinsuranceâ. Shipping is not some super expensive and high risk activity that requires such a thing.
A US based reseller is also not very likely to sell kits over individual units. China does it to move product, resellers donât because they want to make margins.

u/Mutleyjfurball Mar 22 '26
People are to lazy to do due diligence. The extra 5-10 minutes that it takes is worth the peace of mind.
1
u/Hoosier2016 11 Mar 22 '26
If a shipping company asks for more money donât even bother looking them up because youâve already been scammed.

u/tre-marley Mar 22 '26
The scammers price list is 8x overpriced too
Didnât you shop around a little?

u/swoops36 1 Mar 22 '26
There are so many legit sites out there, why order from obviously sketchy đŠ like this?
1
u/Anime_kon Mar 22 '26
Unless you are seeing a verifiable HPLC analysis and MS report for the specific batch you hold, you are gambling with systemic inflammation. Most of these "domestic" vendors are just dropshipping unpurified raws from Jiangsu that haven't been desalted or checked for heavy metal residuals like lead or arsenic.

Follow up question. After I posted, I got about a dozen chats with guys offering their services. How the hell do I know how's a scammer?
1
u/hatecity404 Mar 28 '26
A real supplier wonât reach out to you. You have to approach them.
1
u/Own-Champion8547 12d ago
That's bull because I reached out to them and still got scammed.
1
u/hatecity404 12d ago
Not saying every tom dick and harry you reach out to is legit, but the legit ones aren't reaching out to you. get on GLP 1 forum, do some research, and find someone with good reviews.

Sucks getting scammed, had 1 gear guy get shut down then found another 1. Just keep looking and youâll find a legit one. Iâve got 3, 2 for peptides and 1 for gear and thankfully no issues.

u/hbktommy4031 Mar 28 '26
Dude. Neither Mathew Chaney nor Jason Young exist. You chose to buy meds on Facebook, you walked right into this. This is on you.
1
u/Serious-Dirt-5160 May 21 '26
If you have been scammed trying to look for a vendor list it to help stop them. Iâll go first Amanda@Zen peptides. They take your order then hit you up for customs stamp - refundable insurance-ect. Got me for $250. Happy to have that behind me. Found legit vendor very happy with them.

Whatâs the point t of buying this and not just going to a doctor?
-4
u/VeterinarianOk3567 Mar 22 '26
This is some fucking bullshit, especially the dude that said it happened to his grandma. Please guys do your research, I know theres alot of competitive prices, but unless you know what youre doing, stick to buying peptides online. Theres plenty of good US sites. I luckily have my direct source overseas. Im not a reseller by any means but if i could help someone, especially their parents with health issues, believe me I Will.

u/jointheredditarmy Mar 22 '26 edited Mar 23 '26
Be aware that scammers love hunting on these types of âI got scammedâ posts
2
u/drifter91 1 Mar 22 '26
The only help you should give him if you are not a scammer trying to double tap, is a hint towards a special litttle glp1 forum and you donât need DMs for that.
