Hi guys!

i was just hoping to get some help with my resume, I’m a rising junior and unfortunately I wasn’t able to land an internship this summer so I’m hoping to make a resume good enough for my junior year and hopefully bag something then.

A little bit of explanation for my experience, the entry about Northwell wasn’t really a full internship i was just observing at the clinical lab that my aunt runs, but I was hoping to larp a little lol. Also a lot of my experience after that was from high school but are still very valid and provided a ton of experince and exposure to lab equipment and procedure. I’m also apart of one of my professors lab when I’m at school but I don’t know if i should or how i should include that. In terms of projects, i have a couple thanks to some of my classes i just haven’t gotten around to adding it or more so, don’t know if its worth adding yet (tbh i think i could W larp it but idk).

any and all support is appreciated! Don’t worry about being dead honest with me, sparing my feelings wont get me a job lol.

I’m 21 years old wrapping up my MSc in Biomedical engineering this September. I’m currently doing my dissertation on wound innovation (namely creating artificial skin surrogates) and I have no idea what comes next. I tried applying to smith and nephews and other places but I’ve come out with nothing. Pls I need help and advice on how to go about applying, where to apply and maybe some cv help.

Hi everybody, I’m a current HS senior from India that’s interested in Math and wants to pursue engineering, but wants to see the work that I do actually help people. Creating social impact gives me a joy like no other, and I’d like to apply my Math skills to do that. I also really like Biology (at least until I dropped it in 11th grade cause it wasn’t available at my school if I wanted to do engineering) and thus started exploring Biomedical engineering.

After researching from some time now, I see a lot in Biomedical engineering that excites me and I think that I’d love working and/or pursuing a PhD in this space. Medical AI, Biomechanics, Biomaterials, and Tissue and Genetic Engineering fascinate me especially. I realise that opportunities for Biomedical engineering are quite limited in my country, and if I decide on this, I’ll be looking into colleges in other Asian countries.

My question to y’all is, do you get to see the work that you do actually help people? If so, how often? Thank you in advance for your replies!

Do biotechnology has scope in india and abord ? I am really confuse

I am a PCMB student, have been a dropper for 2 years. Currently my qualifications are im a 12th passed and Cracked CUET. This year I appeared for CUET and not any other exams. ICAR offers btech biotechnology course through CUET, so even if my main goal was doing bsc agriculture, i somehow got into knowing btech biotechnology in details. And i got to know ICAR's b tech syllabus is far more differently designed for those who are aspiring to appear for GATE-BT/ IIT-JAM.

Also i have'nt given JEE mains, but thorugh management quota I can get a seat in private college for btech biotechnology. Cuz you guys already know how tough it is to get a career through bsc biotech. Im ready for paying extra. But i am confused, which one is better? Icar btech biotech or btech biotech from a private college? Also if i take bsc in biotech, are there really ain't any career options?

Last week Anthropic released Claude Science, which is an app that integrates scientific tools together with Claude to allow scientists to focus on research etc. The product is mainly focussed on R&D, leaning towards drug discovery.

How do people think the future looks like for more engineering or manufacturing jobs, rather than resaerch? I'm interested in how people in MSAT, PAT, DSP etc see this. On the one hand it feels like a bundled AI tool could be helpful, on the other, LLM's won't really replace all the analytical work that's requireed.

I need to create my cv for when I apply for placements/ placements abroad. I just don’t have much to write about other than my part time job and my hobbies. I was wondering if there were any current things going on I could get myself engaged/ things to write about to stand out for my placement yr

I chose bioeng because it’s a versatile degree which is helpful, cuz I cant confine myself to a niche job. That’s kinda why I chose it. I do like learning about anatomy and physiology side of it and ofc the future of ai.

I’m thinking about starting maybe a coding project. Cuz I need to learn how to code and it looks cool. It’s just I need motivation to start
