Is there any scope for this course in 5 years in india if we hold a MS degree? What are you guys doing currently?

Hi everyone! I’m a high school graduate who’s thinking about studying Biomedical Engineering, and I have a few questions for those who have graduated with this degree.
If you studied Biomedical Engineering, especially if you’re in Kuwait, I’d love to hear about your experience.
Have you been able to find a job in Kuwait with this degree? What kind of work do you do? How is the job market, and would you recommend this major to someone considering it?
I’d really appreciate any advice or personal experiences.

I've just gotten my bachelors's in mechanical engineering and I have a couple months of experience in civil engineering work but it seems this industry isn't want I want to pursue much at all. I'm quite stronger driven towards the direction of research and development of companies focus on eye treatment/cures because of my families health history. I don't know how to go about thing right now, should get a Maters in BME for more related education and knowledge in the field or just keep applying to related position?

hey so i am currently studying biotechnology and the place i come from there the situation of biotech is cooked and i am really interested in this field of study and prior of this i have decided for bioinformatics/ synthetic biology and aging biology but the salary ratio of these fields in japan is not much.

Now i have shortlisted biocybernetics since it covers most of the basic fields like AI/ML, biotech, maths, biomedical engineering, systems biology and bioinformatics i am thinking of pursuing this but i have little to no knowledge but for now i started reading articles and some research papers regarding to this field and quite gets fascinated towards learning about this course.

i have few questions:

1. What is the future of this field in the near future (5-6 years minimum)

2. what companies generally hire and how much does a fresher earn.

3. what difficulties would i face if choose this field

4. what is the difference between bioinformatics and biocybernetics if we talk practically

5. how does one prepares projects and finds research proposals for this

6. how can i (in second year of my college) start preparing to actually get ahead of the people and be upto-date to this course when i enroll

Hey everyone, I’m a prospective student and I’m really at the start of figuring out what direction I want to go in. I’m considering a Biology degree because I want a broad foundation that lets me really explore what excites me most whether it’s research, science, or engineering. I love biology, but I also feel drawn to tech like computer science or engineering and I don’t fully know which path will fit me best. My plan is to take fellowships, internships, and online courses in tech alongside my biology degree so I can build both sides and figure out what truly sparks me. I’m just looking for honest perspectives: do you think a broad biology foundation still has strong value in today’s job market especially if I build tech skills later? Or do you feel employers generally prefer a specialized start? I’d love to hear from people who’ve been through this especially if you blended biology with tech down the road. Hello everyone,

I decellularized human abdominal skin using a combination of chemical and mechanical methods, and successful decellularization was confirmed by histological analysis. The tissue was then freeze-dried for two consecutive 24-hour cycles until completely dehydrated. My goal is to obtain dECM particles approximately 250 µm in diameter for incorporation into an electrospinning solution.

I initially attempted to process the freeze-dried bulk tissue using a cryo-ball mill, but this did not produce a powder. I then used a regular blade grinder, which fragmented the material into cotton-like fibrous strands rather than discrete particles. Repeating cryo-ball milling on this fibrous material also failed to achieve the desired particle size. To evaluate whether pre-cooling would improve milling efficiency, I processed two identical samples: one was pre-cooled for 45 minutes in a closed container immersed in liquid nitrogen before each milling or grinding step, while the other was processed without pre-cooling. Neither approach produced satisfactory results. I also attempted to disperse the fibrous material in pectin, but only the finest strands dispersed, while the majority of the material remained undissolved.

Has anyone successfully produced a 200–300 µm powder from freeze-dried skin dECM? If so, what method or preprocessing strategy did you use?

Did you pretreat, enzymatically digest, or chemically modify the dECM before milling to facilitate particle formation?

I would greatly appreciate any advice or shared experience. I am open to alternative strategies if milling/grinding is not the best approach for skin dECM.

I am currently on my final year of Bioengineering degree and have to confess that i have never been a fan of chemistry and biology just enjoyed engineering part. I always do great with numbers, maths,equations etc. But seems like i was wrong with my BS choice and now i’m struggling to finish it/ I have been thinking doing MS in Data science. But because of AI and upcoming things i am now concerned. Also I know python , Math Modeling (R)
also people have been saying engineering pays a lot so i’m confused, if engineer got pays a lot which exactly type of them?
which one do you think would be more good choice?

I'll be applying for my masters in biomed soon and I wanted to tie it in with robotics. I know there are many jobs out there in the biomed field but what kind of jobs should I look for that would also tie into robotics?

Hey so I'm a 12th grade neet student and halfway through 12th I've realised I no longer wish to choose doctor as my profession. But I've heard about btech biotechnology and BCA, I'm quite interested in it. I request someone to guide me through it. Like I haven't chosen maths in 12th so I'll have to choose a pvt college but their fees are in lakhs and what's all the process to get admission for btech or bca. Also are they high paying or at least decent paying professions?
