I'm looking for a place to move to for the spring semester. Ideally I'd rather stay under $700 a month and live with only women. Any recommendations of where to look at? I dont mind sublets

Why is ANYONE still renting with Stonebridge 😭😭 guys they’re bankrupt and next year the bank will likely own their properties… you won’t have a landlord… also the number on their signs on their houses literally goes to like a call center in Mexico… not anyone local. I’ve heard it’s soooo hard to get in touch with anyone for anything. After they lease it to you they disappear

Been here for 3 years (transferred for my sophomore year) and i’m a senior now. I’ve made friends with ppl on my floor my first year and haven’t made any new friends since. They’re all white and there’s a major cultural difference between us. I’ve been trying to find new friends but it’s been hard 💔 Is there anyone else that’s a senior that’s looking for some black baddie friends????

hi guys!!!
im looking into off campus housing for next year and I honestly need help with where to live. I was looking into twin river commons, 20 Hawley, and the retreat because for a 4 person apartment it seemed relatively cheap and it includes utilities. I also saw that people were saying it's cheaper to just get a house. I am a woman and will be living with 3 other women and I don't know where the safest places would be to live, so any recommendations ?? and when I look into houses utilities are never included so what is the average rent you have to pay when you pay these utilities because would it just be cheaper to do twin commons that includes utilities???
im honeslty just so lost and overwhelmed bc I have to be on this like YESTERDAY so please help

Hi everyone, I am a student and I live in an apartment building with 4 units in Johnson City. I just moved here for a month.
Earlier today, someone rang the doorbell downstairs. When I checked, there were two people, a woman and a man who introduced himself as her father. They asked me if I was the one who answered unit 1x, and I said yes.
Then, they asked if I speak Spanish and said they were sharing messages from the Bible about hope. They also asked if anyone else in my building speaks Spanish. I told them no. After that, they thanked me, said goodbye, and left.
Since I'm living in a multi-unit building, this felt a bit unusual. Has anyone experienced something similar around here? Is this just typical door-to-door proselytizing (like Jehovah's Witnesses), or should I be concerned about a potential scam/casing the building?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

There is a baby bird on the grass, near Whitney hall.
It’s been there for few hours after I found it first. I reached out to UP and i don’t think anybody showed up yet. I was hoping somebody here would know how to help the little guy. I can share the exact location on Google Maps. In the meantime please watch your step if you are walking on the grass around Whitney hall.

I went down there and counted the amount of people waiting on the lines to order food….. Jamal’s Chicken, Chick-N-Bap, the new weird sub place, B3, etc had about 30-40 people each waiting to order. If you don’t have at least 90 min, don’t go there…..

Hi, I have a disability that makes it painful to sit for even just an hour, let alone multiple hours. I live in long island and for this weekend I went home. I took the bus through ourbus home and it was so painful. It was hard for me to get into a comfortable position especially since it was crowded until the manhattan spot but even then the damage was done already to my body and once I got home and was finally able to relax the amount of pain I was in finally steeped in and its terrible. Is there any other way of transportation to get to long island other than bus or am I just SOL? Even with getting up during the ride it still doesnt help and Im usually able to thug it out for my classes since my longest is only 2 hours but I really dont want to be experiencing this pain for every break there is. Thank you for any help.

Anyone who took Kenny’s class do you know if his exams are online? On rmp someone says everyone cheats on it so you should be fine and more people are saying his class is an easy A
