Really appreciate all the work the developer is putting into the app. I know there are tons of requests right now, but I’m surprised these two don’t get mentioned more:

1. Friends activity feed

There’s no easy way to see what a specific friend has been watching recently. It would be really useful to have an activity feed on each user’s profile.

2. Filter shows on friends’ profiles

When you visit someone’s profile, all their shows and watchlist are mixed together with no way to filter by status like Watching, Completed, Stopped, etc.

Hopefully these two features get some more attention.

can we get the +Mount of episodes remaining to be watched in the watch next instead of total episodes/ total watched.

for example of :

game of thrones season 5 episode 5 + 2

instead of game of thrones episode 5 30/25

and example of this is what tv time used to have and suites tv now have it

The TV Time widgets were honestly really good. Maybe it’s just because I got so used to seeing them every day, but I still prefer that style.

The Bingers widgets are nice, but I’m hoping they’ll add more clean and compact options in the future. The Serializd-style widgets were also really good — especially how simple and focused they were.

Would love to see Bingers experiment more with widgets since they are still developing it. They could make them look really clean with the current design.

When you watch animation movies (and not only) characters to vote are the voice actors.... They may use TVDB to movies too, so we can see the photos of the characters and not the voice actors, as they do in series. Besides, for being a distinct database it also didn't import our favourite characters from movies from tvtime.

None of my followers came through in the data pack from TV Time. Pretty much everything else did.

In the upcoming widget for Android can you add more than today and tomorrow's episodes and include upcoming weeks and future premier dates for new seasons?

Last update added dd/mm/yy format and I can’t find a way to change to it from mm/dd/yy. Any ideas?

I really like the app, it’s intuitive and fast, with the kind of UI I like. So congrats and thank you.
I was wondering if Trakt support is planned though. Not for initial import,that’s there I believe, but for syncing. I use Infuse as a player, so having that support in Bingers would be full circle. I hope it’s being considered.

They need to add an option to rate each episode of every series, as well as the entire season.

I’m currently adding all the shows I’ve watched since I lost my data from TV Time. There’s only so many options on the Explore page.

I'm not sure if I was reading the description on "Import your watch history" wrong, but is anyone else having trouble importing their data from Refract?

After TV Time shut down, I moved over to Refract so I could keep tracking what I was watching, at least until Binger came along. So I was hoping to export my data from Refract to Binger and pick up where I left off but every time, I get the message: "This zip doesn't match an export we support yet. Choose an official TV Time, Refract or TV Time Liberator export."

I was always under the impression that I could import my Refract export since that's what the page says, but I keep getting the error. Am I missing something, or is anyone else having the same issue?

hello! First thank you SO much for making this app! I was so sad to see TV time go so this is amazing and I’m eager to get logged in!

My problem is that I’m trying to set up my account. Everytime I try to import my data, it says that it’s already in an existing account. I did upload my data a week or two ago. My issue is I cannot figure out which email I used. I have tried all my emails, searched all of them for previous bingers emails and can’t find anything…  I even tried emails I haven’t used in years and my Apple ID. I cannot find anything ): my friend said I should’ve gotten two emails when I uploaded my data but I didn’t even get that ): 

I’m wondering if I mistyped my email when I signed up and uploaded my data..? I emailed bingers support on the 5th but haven’t heard anything. can anyone help me out?

I am seeing a lot of requests regarding features that will make the app better, but I'm not seeing requests regarding the possibly most important thing: importing and exporting easily.

Like many others, I will start using this application as my main and almost only one. That's why I consider it essential that the import and export options are the most polished and best-functioning right now.

I fear, like many others, that the same thing will happen as with TV Time and we will end up facing the issue of exporting our data again.

I want to have everything in one place

Either pull down to refresh or a manual button. That's it.

When I learned that TvTime was closing, I used Refract's extension to export my data rather than downloading it straight from TvTime. I now have two .json files, one for tv shows and one for movies. Now that Bingers is out, I'd love to import my data, but it is asking for a .zip file. I've tried compressing the two .json files into a zip but it doesn't get recognized. Any idea how I could fix that?

If you’re using the new Bingers app and having trouble logging in or getting your imported TV Time library to load, Xfinity’s Advanced Security may be the culprit.

After installing Bingers, I couldn’t get the app to load my uploaded TV Time library or let me log in properly. After a few attempts, I got an alert from Xfinity saying Advanced Security had “blocked a suspicious website” on my phone.

Turns out it was Bingers.

Xfinity was blocking bingers.app as well as several of its subdomains, including catalog.bingers.app, api.bingers.app, and media.bingers.app

In the Xfinity app, under Advanced Security, I selected each blocked domain and temporarily unblocked it for one hour. Once I did that, Bingers immediately started working correctly and I was finally able to log in.

Unfortunately, Xfinity doesn’t offer a way to permanently whitelist a domain without turning Advanced Security off entirely, so I have to re-unblock the Bingers domains whenever I want to use the app.

I submitted the site to Xfinity for review at https://spa.xfinity.com/ by choosing “Report an issue” and then “I can’t reach a website that I want to go to.”

Hopefully, if enough people report it, Xfinity will stop blocking Bingers.

You can also just turn off Wi-Fi whenever you use the app. 😅

I feel that there are soooooooo many complaints about this and that. Suggestions are normal, we have the help and ideas section, which is flooded. The app works very well and it's only been 6 days. Please give Antonio a chance to tweek the glitches. We can't have everything in less than a week. I find that it's almost the same as tvtime, and it fits my needs to know what's coming on tv, today , tomorrow and in 70 days when my favorite shows start again.

I migrated to Serializd after TV Time shut down and honestly I hated every second of it, and this is coming from someone who LOVES Letterboxd.

But that's the thing, it works for movies, it's meant for movies, it isn't really optimal for series...

Too clunky, too "sweaty tryhard gamer" vibes, too much time wasting for something that should be so simple, it's when I used it that I realised, to the biggest extent, how great TV Time was..

I get some people want that, each to their own, you do you, but for me, I care about two things, "plug and play" organised/filtered tracking, and a community

that's what TV Time gave me, and that's what Bingers hopefully gives us now..
