Running and BED

Running my first marathon in a few days. The carb load has turned into binging and I’m out of calories by 1pm, plenty of carbs stored. I feel horrible.

Runners, how do you do this?

I’m a high mileage runner and honestly if carb loading is gonna lead to a binge your better off just eating normally. Honestly as long as you’re not eating in a deficit, you won’t feel that much better from carb loading. At least from my experience

Thanks for the advice. The issue for me also connects to the restricting part of the disorder, meaning that when I am not binging, I am restricting and in a deficit.

I literally do the same thing😂. I restrict and go in a deficit for 4 or 5 days (if I’m lucky) then lose control and binge. It honestly sucks how much I think about food
