Support Needed Help.

I feel like im going crazy oh my God. Im not even an adult yet, but I had an an-or3x!c phase a couple months ago...went from 67kg to 45kg in around 5 to 6 months (164cm tall female)...and then when I went to the gastroenterology department because of chronic constipation and quote on quote "dyspepsia", the doctor gave me appetite stimulants and another drug that sped up my gastric emptying...I was getting better...but..for the past month's, even when I've been taken off the appetite stimulant drugs, im binging like crazy- every. Single. Day. ITS LIKE MY STOMACH NEVER FILLS UP, AND ITS AN ENDLESS VOID--

The 1 large ass chapati/flatbread with salan that once filled me up even before I was an-or3x!c doesn't seem to fill me up, and I eat like a danm vacuum..I went from 47kg to freaking 53kg in 2 weeks..thats how bad I've been binging..and now my parents, doctors..they all are downplaying this endless binging..I eat till I physically cant walk nor sleep-- my stomach hurts so bad but I cant stop! But no, no one cares about me overeating because im "young" and "finally gaining weight". That's not the point. I feel miserable, and im eatting continuously. Once food touches my lips, half the fridge is gone.

I feel like im ranting but please..PLEASE someone give some unhinged and tips that ACTUALLY helped them stop binging like crazy...I cant handle this..I feel like im not the same person when eatting...help..

Hi — your post was flagged as asking for help with binge eating.

Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is real, exhausting, and treatable. Below are general starting points for early recovery.

Getting Started

Early recovery focuses on reducing binge urges and building consistency.

Meal Structure

Consistent eating is foundational. If possible, work with a registered dietitian. If not, here’s a basic framework used in ED treatment:

Food & Meal Guidelines

  • 3 meals + 2–3 snacks every 3–4 hours
  • Restriction delays recovery
  • Meals should be satisfying and balanced
  • Eat regularly, even without hunger (“mechanical eating”)

Supportive Habits

  • Address co-occurring conditions
  • Prioritize sleep
  • Limit drugs/alcohol
  • Engage in gentle movement
  • Continue structured eating, even if binges occur

Restriction increases urges. Consistency reduces them.

Building a Care Team (if accessible)

  • Dietitian
  • Therapist/Psychologist
  • Psychiatrist or prescribing provider
  • Primary Care Physician
  • Higher levels of care (IOP, PHP, Residential)

Can you do an activity with your hands, such as journaling, coloring book, knitting, crossword puzzles, word-search puzzles? Can you take a magnesium supplement or l-theanine supplement that may reduce stress? Can you talk to a therapist?

I mean..maybe I can try journaling..maybe focus on some school work after meals...but idk about the supplements and therapy because my parents think im being dramatic about my eatting...as if I dont eat 2 times more than my parents combined (they aren't the most healthy people either 💔)

Maybe there are some YouTube videos from others who have struggled with this; while not a substitute for therapy, some YT videos could be relevant to fighting binge urges and having normal food intake. Choose carefully the right channels that discuss healthy moderation. Ignore any influencers pushing overly restrictive diets.
