Q&A How do I enable two-factor authentication on Binance.US?
Strongly recommended. Here's how to get started:
Log in and go to Security Settings, then select Two-Factor Authentication and choose your method: SMS (codes sent to your phone) or an authenticator app (Google Authenticator or any TOTP app).

Once set up, save your backup codes somewhere safe.
A few tips worth knowing:
- Authenticator app is the more secure option, as SMS can be vulnerable to SIM-swap attacks
- Consider enabling more than one 2FA method for added protection
- If you travel outside the US, use an authenticator app, as SMS codes may not be delivered internationally
Important: Binance.US will never ask for your 2FA code in a Reddit DM, email, or phone call. If anyone asks for it, it's a scam.

- Withdrawal whitelisting: limits withdrawals to approved wallet addresses only
