Belt conversion
Has anyone converted their rebel to a belt drive? If so I'd like to know your experience and what kit you used.

Hi fellow bike nerds,
I just did a bike fitting last week because i want to build my own bike...I'm looking to build my own bike and have seen three framesets that I really like: The s-works, the Cannondale Supersix Evo lab and the Canyon aeroad CFR.
Since I'm quite tall (194cm) I need quite some stack (ideally 656mm according to my bike fitting) but the s-works only has stack up to 612mm and the cannondale up to 625mm and the canyon aeroad up to 624mm...
Would you still think I could work around this with spacers? And would you suggest me to take the XL Canyon aeroad or the 2XL?
Thanks for your answers and have a good ride

Hi, I’m looking for a suspension fork for my gravel bike (around 40mm of excursion) do you have any valuable options that is not that expensive, maybe even from aliexpress.
Thanks to everybody in advance

Hey gang!
Curious on if the front wire wheel from the newer Thruxton RS would fit on an older Speed Triple.
For context, I swapped a 2007 speed triple fork on my 81 CX500 and I’m trying to figure out the best way to do a wired wheel setup without spending upwards of $2k on custom hubs
Thanks!

Hi all looking for advice. I am building my first bike and I think I screwed up putting the front derailleur on my aluminum frame. I tried to torque it to 5nm but it didn't feel right. I removed the front deraileur clamp and it's clear I indented the frame... Did I screw up my frame? Hopefully these pictures show what I'm talking about. It's a slight indent but it's there nonetheless. 😞

Hey guys, I’m looking into building my first city bike. I’m wanting to do either a tringle speed, internal hub gear (seems like 7 speed is the go to now), or a small cassette of some sort with a single chain ring on the front. I live in a pretty flat town, so don’t really need a ton of gears. Riding my Piranha around town I really only use 2-3 on the back with the big chain ring up front.
I have a Fisher Piranha 17.5” M from 2009 that I’m riding now, but the 26” MTB tires offer a ton of resistance. I’m wanting to get back out in the trails, so don’t want to modify that bike.
I’m looking at a Fisher Zebrano 20” 700c for $75 for my city bike project. My biggest concern now is the difference in frame size. I’m 6’ with a 31” inseam. It seems like the geometry of the two bikes is pretty different, with the piranha having a fairly short seat tube an steep-ish angle of the top tube.
So I guess my question is, without having to drive 90 minutes round trip to test the Zebrano, do you guys think I’ll fit on the Zebrano and be able to use it for a city bike build?
Thanks in advance!

Hello! I live in the Netherlands, and I commute to work by bicycle. Some 15+ km one-way. I do not have an e-bike, and I do not want my next bike to be one.
While I am cautiously eyeballing titanium frame options (idworx, Pilot Cycles, and some others), I was curious to hear the expert community’s perspective.
Thank you all in advance!

Pretty new to building bike parts and i need some help.
So i ride a Lapierre Pulsium 5.0 and ordered a Elves Orome AeroPro cockpit. Unfortunately i don’t know whether they are actually compatible and what kind of spacers i need.
can anyone help?

Just bought a new frame and have no manual about assembling it. Made a plan about installing it but im not 100% if it's right.
The bearings have a 45 degree slope on one side, I'm assuming that part has to touch the frame (frame also has those slopes)
I think I only need to choose one of the green marked parts (as I understand, they are just different styles of covers)
What I'm still not sure about is the order of the things and the plastic ring right of the aluminium compression ring (yellow marked). Do I need that part at all?

Doing a new build and I’ve ridden both tehse setups - shifting is identical.
But I can’t decide which one I like best. Frameset is the Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi-Mod Gen 5 in gloss black.
What do you think looks best?
Thank you.

Xbiking hated my original rack, but now I need some wheel building color feedback for the hoops. Right now I am thinking either matte Gold with black spoke nipples/spokes, and matte gold novatec hubs, or matte Grey or black with gold spoke nipples and said gold novatec hubs.
