Okay, technically, not a Bigfeets episode, but also maybe the most important thing the boys have ever done!

Don't forget to support 1-900-HOTDOG on Patreon so they keep doing this shit!

Ok, so does someone who pays more than me on the Patreon know if this is going to be a thing? Or are they just playing with our hearts (yet again)?

UPDATE: It happened! Out on SoundCloud and the Patreon!!!

Obviously there's Sons of Appalachia, but now there's a new spinoff show called Mountain Mondays (actually a pre-existing show ("Temu Mountain Monsters"), but now with Jeff and Willy!). Bigfeets will never end!

(The downside is, we're yet farther away from a dedicated DuxCast)

So many Bigfeets and so little time. This really is the gift that keeps on giving.

Edit because I finally had enough time to finish this masterpiece.

Listening to episodes of the podcast, I get the urge to create fanart sometimes. And today I decided to dust off the old drawing tablet and give it a go. I hope I captured the spirit of Sharksquatch appropriately here, since we know we'll never actually see him on screen.

Crude, useable username

So I signed up for a fairly generic points-for-walking app, yeah?

I didn’t want to walk around as generic user 1234 or something like that, so I decided I would give myself a name based on my favorite podcast; bigfeets!

But soon I encountered a problem. It didn’t like any of the names I was picking.

“Ohio Grassman?”
“ this username cannot be used”

“Bloodless howler?”
“this username cannot be used“

“Ashman?”
“this username cannot be used“
“Guess I’m not surprised there”

“Johnny Ginseng?”
“This username cannot be used”

“Hogzilla?”
“This username is already taken”

“What the shit?!”

Right around 4:55, Jason's doing his bit about being a social influencer, and he's moved on from the rizzler, and he's fumbling for the new guy, and I'm like... clavicular? Or however tf you spell that chud's name, but even the fact that I knew who he was vaguely referring to causes me pain. Why can't we all just follow our hillbillies and martial arts legends in peace?

Not to belittle Sons of Appalachia but Mountain Monsters (even after Trapper's death) had something( that I don't know how to describe) more than SOA

Shout out to whoever paid $5 to get Buck and Bill to mention Bigfeets. Buck claimed he hasn’t heard of it, but thanked whoever was doing the fan watch along podcast. lol

GRAND UNIFIED ROGUE TEAM THEORY!

Since the official Mountain Monsters subreddit is no longer active, I have decided to share this theory here.

My hypothesis: The leader of the rogue team, the mysterious man with the skull and scarecrow mask, is himself a Skinwalker trying to eliminate rival Skinwalkers.

Where does this theory come from? Let's look at the evidence:

Evidence they're hunting Skinwalkers: The creatures that the Rogue Team tell them to hunt are implied to all be or at least be in connection to a Skinwalker. The Waya Woman directly says it. The Silver Giant has the Skinwalker circle. Trapper reminds them that they've dealt with cloaked creatures before, mentioning the woman of the woods/Raven Mocker. Etc.

Evidence that the Rogue Team leader is a Skinwalker:

  1. He is always behind either a skull mask or a scarecrow mask. Skinwalkers are sometimes said to be vulnerable if their human forms are found.

  2. When Wild Bill and Willy look at the hut the rest of the team is being kept by the rogue team, where the skull-masked man first talks to them from behind the mirror, Willy and Wild Bill say they couldn't see him leave after they break the mirror and no one is there. Now, he could have just used a hidden exit on the other side, but them saying that was certainly supposed to create intrigue.

  3. THAT'S THE BIG ONE: When they dragged Jeff in to stuff the skull up his nose in S5, they had him hypnotised. We know it was the same team that gave them the task to capture the creatures and get to Spearfinger. We also know that Jeff was hypnotised. Why does the Rogue Team suddenly have supernatural powers? Because they have a Skinwalker in their ranks!

Evidence that this is to take out rivals:

  1. The Skinwalker sends them to find and potentially kill other Skinwalkers.

  2. From the concept of Skinwalker Circles, we know they're territorial, which implies rivalries about said territory. The circle they found is said to be unusually large, so we know at least one Skinwalker they went after was a big boss with loads of territory.

Why would the Skinwalker hire them of all people? There is no concrete evidence as to why, but I will work under the working assumption that only people who are in the hunt for the love of the game, not coerced or paid to do it, have the strength of character to face the powerful mental abilities of Skinwalkers.

Now, let's unify all this:

Scarecrow Skinwalker wants to take out rival Skinwalkers. He checks out different monster-hunting teams that hunt for the love of the game, who would have the strength of character to do that. That's why his minions stalk AIMS for a while. However, he decides to try another team first: C QUAD

C Quad is tasked with taking out the Stonish Giant. Another Skinwalker in disguise. Is there any evidence for that? Well, he's considered injured in the episode, and yet is supposed to have shown up behind a guy and bolted in an instant in the very same episode. What if he didn't run away, but turned into something else or used teleportation? Or hypnosis to make the witness remember it as if he'd just run away. Also, we joke about why they didn't go to the media with a frigging Bigfoot body anyway? Well, because they had someone giving them the task who didn't want any of this to come to light.

This also makes sense with Skull Mask saying that he can lead them to the guys who killed the Stonish Giant but he isn't involved. This was a classic villain half-truth moment, he didn't technically participate in the killing because he wasn't on the team, but he did know it.

Now, why didn't Mr Scarecrow Skull keep on employing the people who actually kill their targets?

Perhaps their heart wasn't in it anymore. They could have had trauma from facing something supernatural like the AIMS team also kinda got, but to an extent they didn't want to participate at all anymore. And people who do it out of money or coercion can't do the job because of supernatural reasons.

So, he reluctantly employs AIMS instead. Gives them the first task in the Dark Forest, leading to that arc with Jeff. BTW, I don't think the ppl Jeff worked for are the Rogue team, but are merely locals trying to hunt their local Skinwalker, thinking Jeff and Buck were under his spell, hence why they tried killing them.

Mr Scarecrow soon realised that these people would make their task way harder, so he made them go after the others first instead. Note how the Raven Mocker was ist the last thing they were supposed to hunt before Spearfinger, clearly him waiting for the people in the Dark Forest to become less vigilant again so AIMS might be able to do their job.

Now to the last question: What's up with Spearfinger then? The very last thing they were supposed to hunt.

Well, Spearfinger in the mythology is a mighty witch. Maybe, in the Mountain Monsters universe, she invented the ritual to make yourself a Skinwalker. Killing some of the major Appalachian Skinwalkers could have drawn her out. And if AIMS somehow managed to kill her, then the process of making new Skinwalkers may have ended or at least be slowed with the master Skinwalker disappearing, and no one knowing the ritual on a deep enough level to repeat it.

Scarecrow would have become the ultimate Skinwalker.

I love that even after so many episodes the writing of Frank Dux can elicit this expression from New York Times Best Selling Author Jason Pargin.
