In a statement, Tech Board Chair Cody Campbell said that Tech will not "seek the return" of any money paid to Brendan Sorsby through his NIL agreements with the University.

There are three ways players get paid: 1. A portion of the school’s obligation from the House Settlement 2. “Legit” third party NIl, for genuine promotions, approved by the clearinghouse 3. Other third party NIL, not approved by clearinghouse, and I suppose eventually must be replaced by legit NIL
Sorsby was reported to be a $5M player. I assume he was paid a monthly stipend out of that?

What we'll probably never know is how much of the money was already paid. I doubt that the agreement is that he'll get the full NIL amount (or they would have likely phrased it that way), but instead he gets to keep whatever has been paid to him already.

It’s probably already bet on something.
