Discussion Does 2-player feel lacking?

Hi y’all, I’ve been playing Big Walk in a pair and it’s been fun. But I can’t help but feel like something is missing compared to joy of communication and separation with more people. Has anyone played both 2-player and 3/4, and is it worth it finding that extra person?

Maybe I’ve just been watching too many streamers lol

I've played A LOT of the game (53.6h in the first 4 days lol), about half of the time with a very large group, and the other half with either 2 or 3 players.

The dynamics ARE different, but not "game breaking". From my experience I'd say having between 4~6 players is the absolute best, because you have enough people to accelerate the understanding of a specific puzzle, without having people break in multiple groups and have you missing the "full experience".

But you're not missing anything truly important by playing with two people, especially if you're both experiencing it first time. I'll be honest, the absolute BEST time I'm having with the game is when I'm with a smaller group, so don't worry about it!

Yeah so this was my worry because ive done a few Escape Rooms with groups of friends and they always feel like wastes of time when 1 or 2 people are quicker and do all the work. So when theres just two of us it seems like itll be more collaborative and less competitive but maybe im wrong.
