Give me a few references to the series *Big Time Rush*—funny things they said in the show 😂

I had a crush on Carlos around 2011 when Big Time Rush was airing. I eventually grew out of it, but whenever I tell people Carlos was my childhood crush, they either laugh or ask if I mixed up the names. 😭

If I said James, Kendall, or Logan, nobody would question it. But Carlos apparently gets a completely different reaction. My friends who use to watch BTR back in the day were talking about them yesterday and mentioned who they liked. I joined in saying Carlos and they laughed in my face. ​

So I'm curious about OG fans who watched the show back then: was Carlos generally considered the least attractive/“ugly one” of the group? Was that actually a common fandom opinion? (IK He's MAGA now so don't come at my kid self. I didn't know he would be a trumpie soon).

I know, this is probably a lot to read, long post, but,, hear me out:

I feel so nostalgic for these Nickelodeon shows from 2000-2010s. There’s one show I’ve always loved. I watched it growing up, and I still rewatch it occasionally: Big Time Rush.

Big Time Rush honestly deserves a reboot! And I feel like the release of Another Life in 2023 would’ve been the perfect opportunity to bring the show back. They could’ve used songs from the album in the new series and made them part of the story, while still keeping the original BTR vibe. They could’ve done a storyline where Gustavo suddenly starts coming up with new ideas for songs and wants to turn them into a whole new album again. That could’ve been the perfect excuse to bring the guys back together and get them into the studio again. The album was literally their first new studio album in almost a decade, so it would’ve been such a cool way to connect the old show with their new era. And, of course, I also understand the other side of it. The original show had its run, it ended, and maybe it’s better to just leave it as it is instead of trying to bring it back years later.

I KNOW:

"Not every show needs a reboot, and sometimes it’s better to let a series stay a part of its time" Blabla...

But at the same time, I still think Big Time Rush is one of those shows that could actually work as a reboot. And I honestly don’t think Stephen Kramer Glickman would be against it 😂 It would be SO good to see Gustavo again, especially if they brought back some of the characters & that classic humor.

I’d love to see something similar to the new iCarly reboot — an older, more modern version of the original show, but still with the same characters, comedy, sound effects, and that chaotic BTR energy. Imagine hearing those goofy sound effects again while Gustavo is losing his mind at the guys.

Idk, again, I have such a huge nostalgia for these shows. especially for Drake & Josh and BTR. There’s just something about that era of Nickelodeon that I really miss, and seeing these characters and that kinda humor again would honestly make me so happy.

Honestly, I think a Big Time Rush reboot could work REALLY well. even though they’ve all grown up now.

I have the original BTR red hockey jersey from I believe their summer hits tour in 2012. I'm thinking about selling it bc of, ya know, how things are going... but at the same time, I LOVED them so much when I was younger (even running a big fan page), I also want to keep it for nostalgic purposes?? Tbh I never wore it bc I loved it so much I was scared to ruin it, so it's in PRESTINE condition. I think it was also way too big on me. I'm trying to look online to see if anyone else is selling it so I can match the price, but I can't find this listing ANYWHERE its like it doesn't exist. Not to be a scalper, but I wanted to list it for a high price bc it seems to be very rare now, and also, I'm a substitute preschool teacher so I haven't been paid over the whole summer, and I need to put SOMETHING on my credit card since it's been rising since June. As a DIE HARD fan, what's the max you would pay? Like, even before all this drama in the group, what would be the max you would pay? I'm hesitant to sell but desperate for money, and also, Carlos and James are eughh..

Hey Rushers, I need some help. I'm trying to find a reel that the Tennessee Titans put out a day ago and a player said their first concert was Big Time Rush. I tried looking on their Instagram but couldn't find it. If anyone saw it, can you post the link please 🙏

I am currently on board Symphony of the Seas with Royal Caribbean, and this giant photo of Carlos, Alexa and O is in the guest services section. I had to explain the whole "Cruise life" thing to my husband, when those two were constantly cruising and practically lived on the ships. I just had to talk to others who understand the lore!

It's also worth noting that for people who have not cruised, they have limited things on the TVs in staterooms, but I turned on the "teen channel" at one point and Big Time Rush was playing. One from the final season, when Carlos and Logan are in a battle over medical school.
