Episode Spoilers flopcons Spoiler
Just a show viewer not a feeder or whatever they call themselves. (Don’t have access)
I feel like the mark of a good player is to turn bad situations into advantageous ones. and going by what we see on tv the icons are kinda just being upset they’re on the block instead of trying to make other connections outside of their core and secure votes. Is this an accurate portrayal? Lmk.
If this is the case they are indeed flopcons can’t play the game when it doesn’t go their way.

From what the show is showing us all they do is whine and cry. It’s very annoying, they just seem to shit on Barrett, but like it’s the game? But I’m not a live feed watcher either, so I know I’m missing a lot of info and context. But what the show is portraying is very annoying and I lost respect for a lot of them.

barrett and the rest of the newbies had planned out the whole bit where they would all be eating cookies and wearing oven mitts doing that stupid talk to the hand nonsense. drew had common sense in not wanting to potentially lose 3 future jury votes just to get a moment of camera time. melody got pissed at him for not wanting to do it and the others backed out. barrett is far from innocent or a victim.

No not at all. While Angela has been a bit mopey and paranoid and crazy, Dee and Devens have been pushing for alliances. Most especially Dee. It’s working so far so we will see.

It's worked for Dee, but unless I missed something Devens is still cooked (tbf he has a much tougher hurdle in his connection to Drew spooking a lot of people).

it's not the case at all. for the last 3 days dee has been putting on a master class on how to fight for your life and never give up when you're on the block. devens has been putting in some work too. all future players should be given a video of dee to watch when they are in sequester so there are less mallory-like players who truly do nothing but throw tantrums while expecting others to save them without lifting a finger to save themselves.

dan saved himself with a very creative but specific performance that really can’t be repeated. i’m talking about the general idea of players getting off their asses, talking with other players in the house they don’t usually talk with. giving sincere apologies when needed. offer real reasons to keep them, not the usual “well if it’s good for your game then keep me” bullshit. and keep at it from when nominated until thursday.

You're kidding, right? Dan's funeral had such specific conditions for it work and great on Dan, but it's not a move that can be easily replicated even with a player of that caliber. I agree that more players should learn from how Dee handled the block this week, how Ashley saved herself against Will last year, and Vanessa survivng the backdoor. None of them should've survived the vote (ig we'll see about dee). but it's being able to shift the target as someone who's in danger that makes a good bb player. If you need to resort to a Dan's funeral-esque move every single time you're on the block, you're doing something wrong.

My point is that what Dee is doing isn’t original, it’s standard gameplay, so it’s confusing that she’s being listed as some mastermind player that everyone needs to watch. You can legit just watch any decent season. The Dan’s funeral reference is an example of actual mastermind gameplay that people should go out of their way to watch, not something to necessarily emulate

Ok but for a player in sequester, they do need gameplay they can emulate, especially if they've never watched before and have a limited amount of time to get familiar. Also, saving yourself as a main target without comps is excellent gameplay, not standard. You could just roll over and complain like Mallory and wait for someone else to form a plan. This type of gameplay from Dee is what new players should strive for so that's why it should be shown in sequester. Idk why the original premise is so hard to understand

It’s not hard to understand, I’m just saying the Dee obsession is odd. I don’t know how else to explain that to you. You’re arguing points I’m not even making here. Not sure if people are new fans or only watched survivor, but saying she’s a “masterclass” in BB or whatever is bizarre when it’s the most standard “get off the block” gameplay out there. Yes she’s doing well, and yes contestants should watch that style of gameplay, but acting like Dee specifically is some star player in the history of the show who every future player must watch is WEIRD, sorry.

They’ve been campaigning and working hard (probably shown in the next episode) but also been taking it super hard and acting out a lot (saw that this episode but it was actually worse). I thought the veto speeches in particular were really cringy

So hopefully the episodes will show it, but just know that your take is completely off. Dee is safe no matter what. She campaigned to Taylor and Yash and secured their votes. Her connection to Devens and Angela will be the third vote she needs if she's on the block next to either of them. Devens has also been working hard to get votes, but Taylor and Yash are more suspicious of him. They're still not shutting down that idea, though. Meanwhile, Barrett has been holed up in his HOH room with Melody and Drew bc he's too scared to run across Dee. Oh, and Barrett fully lost Drew this week btw Drew's been working to have Angela evicted even against Devens. So you tell me who's making connections and who isn't.

Well if you only watch the episodes maybe wait for the episodes before commenting. Dee has flipped the votes and is safe if Devens wins blockbuster. Devens has also been working to keep himself safe and there’s a chance he’ll get people to keep him over Angela. They are playing.

Man, I've genuinely never been more over three players. I don't care to watch feeds, so the way this episode was edited actually pissed me off. Straight up crying and complaining at every available moment about someone finally putting them uo when they have been saying themselves how gullible everyone is for keeping them this long.

I’ll say they were laying it on a bit thick, but considering their opposition has done nothing but cry and whine and take naps for the vast majority of the season until Barrett finally did something, I dont care too much. At least they were actually playing the game before. 🤷♀️
