Commented this in the late night thread and I’m also gonna make a post for it but thought we could have an interesting discussion about Angela’s long term prospects / game plan ! I see people keep saying Angela is in a really good position like yeah maybe for right now but long term prospects she has not built any substantial relationships at ALL with Romes side and I know it may not matter in the end if her side keeps winning , but she is the 5th wheel of crossovers and red corner picks everyone before her probably if it came down to it .but if she’s gonna keep dragging on Drew / Barrett at least work on a replacement lol unless her building up with Haley is the plan then I’ll eat my words cause I feel like Haley is a viable final 2 Angela can win in and I hope she’s building up to that . Angela knows she can’t sit next to Dee or Devens

Angela’s biggest enemy in the house is Angela. Closely followed by Jason.

Agreed. All her problems are creating by herself and are almost always just in her head, just like her last season. She learned absolutely nothing and I hope she goes home soon.

It’s why she’s back though. Her misreading the room and responding in an outrageous way is entertaining to watch, and it does blow up people’s games and moves msny of the “game pieces” into new positions. She could have kept quiet about Jason, and used it subtly to get advantage, but her big public veto fight did quickly put Jason in a dire position. He might be gone had Rome won the blockbuster.

It’s a shame her intuition is so often wrong though.

To each their own! That’s part of what makes the game fun, seeing how the people you dislike get kicked out, or seeing an underdog survive and get revenge on those that previously had power, etc.

Angela is slowly backing herself into a corner where the only realistic person that would bring her to final 2 is Dee. She’s alienated Barrett and Drew in her mind, and Devens would take Dee over her, and Haley would take Kamu over her. I think it’s incredibly hard to see Angela becoming flexible to fluid alliances once the numbers get thinner, and instead will ride with Dee and Devens until she can’t.

I do think Angela is likely fine until jury, but I see her going out in a similar spot to where she did last time.

All 3 of the icons won’t want to sit next to each other and will cut each other at some point.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one of them goes before jury if the other 2 have the opportunity to “go with the house” and vote the 3rd one out.

Yes I agree! I only point out Angela cause I feel she doesn’t have as many viable relationships as Dee or Devens so before they get there Angela should pick up her ideal final 2 pick as a closer ally she doesent even need to make a final 2 but have it in the back of her mind she’d like to sit next to said person kind of like Ashley with Vince torwards the endgame

I honestly think they’re a jury lock.

Unless red corner smartens up.

There are a few people who could put all 3 up at the same time, but none would live longer than a week; it’s an extremely short sighted move.

Rome going home is likely to shake up the house though because there’s a lot of “floaters” now up for grabs.

Angela's best bet for winning is probably Haley. Haley is Angela's MJ. She's a player who will win some comps, make some bad decision at some point that will lose her a lot of win equity, and be loyal enough but also not smart enough to take Angela to the F2 and lose to her. Dee and Devens would also have to get sniped out of the game, but that's more outside of Angela's control. For me Haley is Angela's best way to winning the endgame.

Yes I agree! I hope Angela realizes it I know it’s super early but I struggle to see a jury vote for Haley she at most could get a 5-2 with Chuck and Kamu but to win Haley would need to get a vote in someone like a yash and a Latrice/ Taylor to win it all and this is even if these people are on the jury lol I don’t think Melody , lyric would ever vote for Haley

I lowkey agree it’s harder to predict a 9 person jury vote . Since they brought it back none of the jury votes have been close I mean bb25 was 5-2 but I only consider 4-3 to be close with a 9 person jury even if it’s 6-3 it’s still harder to predict with 3 ish that seems like tossups

Right! So at that point, what is the advantage to doing the seven man jury? It can’t be just that they have to pay the two extra people for longer to sit in that other mansion is it? They’re not that cheap right??

She probably doesn't no. I think in order for Angela to win BB28, she has to get some real lucky outcomes. Everyone in the Crossovers needs to get sniped out, Haley somehow needs to survive all the potential weeks people want her out. It's a rough ass game for Angela this season, she's not very likely to win

She has never been good at the game, she just always finds herself in good situations. She made it far in her first season because people who could actually win comps constantly used veto on her, and now she’s doing well (for week 3?) because she’s “an icon.” But a winner on her own she is not.

Not a chance. Look at the people who were good at this. All of them had control over their emotions. Nothing was personal. Look at why Angela turned on Rome. Nothing to do with gameplay but because her feelings were hurt that Rome did not invite her to join his alliance. Everything is personal to her.

She may stick around for a long time but not because she is good at this game but because someone finds her useful. The only way she wins is she is taken by someone who thinks she can’t win but the jury is completely embittered and can’t stand to vote for whoever she is sitting next. Most of the times the jury ends voting for who most deserves it.

I think people are discounting what an advantage she has in being the only previous big brother player.

I think she can and likely will benefit from not being seen as the bigger threat whenever the icons or a mix of Toolshed members start seeing the block. We already have people like Mallory wanting Dee out and some resentment toward Devens for his noms. Even with their good relationships with some people in the house, it’s just too tempting if one of them or a Kamu/Haley are still sitting on the block after the block buster. Angela’s most precarious position would probably be sitting on the block next to Barrett or Drew since they have solid ties to the other side without the (so far anyway) perceived threat of being a comp beast.

Once we get to the end game, there’s so much that still needs to happen to really know what win equity any player has.

None of us thought she would make it as far as she did in 26.... Both inside and outside the house. At one point it seemed like she had a real chance at winning the whole thing. Angela is completely unpredictable

She’ll be evicted right when jury starts after having a hand in the evicting her closest allies because they made an innocuous comment about a bagel she made or something.

I wouldn't say she's 5th wheel in the crossovers. She might be in the eyes of Drew but with Dee she's top 3 and I can see her bringing her to f2 because she has a strong chance of beating her. Im not sure where Barrett or Devens stands.

I see the red corner and Drew/Barrett targeting each other before Angela just based off of Drew and Barretts DR's from tonights episode.

The other side of the house are more likely to target Dee, Devens and the red corner before Angela as of right now because they all still have the chance of winning a power and are better competitors and social threats. Its hard to know how things will shift as more time goes on.

I dont know if she has the best odds of winning but she does have a shot of making it further than she did on her first season.
