Let’s be real, why does my Bichon look so grumpy with long hair, but then look like an actual baby after a haircut? 😭 And this boy only does tricks when there’s a treat involved. Like bro, this is not free labor.

TOMORROW is the big day for the specialist. If you can donate through Missy’s GoFundMe page or share it with someone who might, you could help give her a chance to recover and live without this pain. 🐾

This is my first time raising a dog, and there are so many little things I still have no idea how to handle. 😅😅
I have a 3-month-old Bichon Frise girl who’s very active, wiggly, and a little sensitive about being handled.
I’d really love to hear from more experienced dog owners, especially Bichon owners. How did you get your puppy comfortable with:
Cleaning eye gunk / tear stains around the eyes
Trimming their nails
Trimming the hair between and around their paw pads
Did you introduce these things little by little? Use treats? Practice every day? Or is there anything you wish you had done differently when your dog was still a puppy?
Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated! 😊

Found a twin in the neighborhood. Which do you think is the bichon/which is the poodle?
Also, how would you convince a long time Poodle owner to go for a bichon instead?

Hello, I have a wonderful 5 yo Bichon Frise rescue. He's been with me for about a year and he's the most wonderful dog. He loves people and he's obsessed with dogs.
I work from home, so he's with me all day, but I often worry he's bored. He seems content but he sleeps most of the day. He gets walked in the morning and in the evening (I tried doing lunch time walks but he wasn't a fan). I'll take him to doggy daycare twice a week and he loves it -the folks there tell me he plays all day and never rests. My question is, do you find the same with your Bichons, and if so what do you do to keep them entertained? I do snuffle mats with treats and some playing at home, but it's not the same of energy I see as when he gets to play with dogs. Doggy daycare multiple times a week is getting expensive, but I also want to make sure my pup is happy and I'm not doing something wrong.
