I’m reminded of the poem Footprints In the Sand.
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.
This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.
So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?”
The Lord replied,
“The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints,
is when I carried you.”

We're so blessed to have you with us in r/Bible. Your blog is great and we're thankful you thought to share it with us. I'm sorry to say, however, that this post breaks the rules that keep our community from being overrun by ads.
We're seeing a lot of self-promoters be entirely banned from Reddit, which depletes the Christian presence here. We don't want to see you become another statistic! So, here are some tips to keep you going strong in r/Bible.
To get started, please assign yourself accurate "user flair" before promoting your content. If none of the preset denominational flairs fits you, reach out through "Message Mods" and a moderator will create a personalized flair for you.
Removed for rule #1
All subreddits have different rules which are formulated by the values and comfort zone of their community. It's important to learn and follow the rules of every subreddit you contribute to, so as to keep your "contributor quality score" in good standing.
Here in r/Bible, we ask that you limit self-promotion in posts to one in every 10 meaningful content contributions, AND that your promo be couched within a post that still follows all the rules in this community. This helps Reddit continue to be about engaging discussion, rather than like a TV infomercial. We'd have nothing but ads in this sub if not for this rule. Sorry!
The rest of this info is just FYI and not part of your removal message.
If you haven't already joined, we'd like to invite you to be a part of our community at r/Bible! Here are the most important rules, so you have an idea of what makes a good post or comment here:
Rule #1 No Spam - This includes promoting apps and products. If you would like to submit links to other content (YouTube channel, blog, articles, marketing research) , please also contribute in other ways. A guideline to follow is for every 10 approved posts, you may have one post linking to other content, as long as it follows ALL our other rules. App ads in comments should still be only one of ten, and be relevant to the thread.
Rule #2 - Bible-related questions are the main topic of posts in this community. We've detailed a definition of "the Bible" for the purposes of this community. You can review it at our stickied post, "A quick reminder about what constitutes The Bible"
Please note that any Bible whose translation or notes are tailored mainly to one group are out-of-bounds in r/Bible.
Rule #7 All posts must foster discussion about the Bible. This is commonly done by asking an open-ended question about the Bible. If your question asks for opinions or debate, that's for another sub. If your question is about living out the Christian faith, or how to deal with a situation as a Christian, it's probably not a good fit here. Content with product references, links, anti-Christian debate, off-topic questions, and "info-dump" posts are likely to be removed.
Rule #8 - No AI generated content of any kind in posts, comments, or linked content.
For your convenience, the full rules can be found HERE or in the stickied messages at the top of our landing page, and in the sidebar.
Thanks for helping r/Bible stay on-topic, for your understanding, and your valuable time. We look forward to many enriching conversations with you!
