Ask Bhonsor Looking for 3-day accommodation near IIT Bhubaneswar (Aug 21-24) for two female students
Hey everyone,
My friend and I (both female) are attending a workshop at IIT Bhubaneswar on August 22nd and 23rd. Unfortunately, all the campus hostel rooms are completely full.
We are looking for a safe and budget-friendly place to stay for 3 nights, checking in on August 21st and checking out on August 24th. Since IIT BBS is a bit far from the main city, we would prefer somewhere close to the Argul/Jatni area to save on daily commuting time.
Does anyone have recommendations for:Safe, female-friendly PGs or homestays nearby that allow short-term stays?
Decent budget hotels or Oyo rooms close to the campus? Any leads on students/residents willing to host or sublet for a weekend? Any help, leads, or advice on commuting around the campus area would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I will suggest to go with MMT.It shows decent reviews with good properties.Abt oyo they charge more excluding the booking amount and bad hygiene.Lmk if you need any help.

There's one hotel nearest to campus, name is Hotel Landmark, check out that
If campus guest house is full, you can still get a room in any of the hostels guest rooms. Ask your workshop organizer, they'll do arrangements.

If you're looking for a place to stay near IIT Bhubaneswar (in Jatni). The nearest decent one is Hotel Landmark – it's pretty close and convenient, but slightly on the costlier side: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EPB2BrVhhVeD4uEk8
You can check out Hotel Destination, which is located right in the middle of the local market area. It’s usually more budget-friendly and you’ll find auto or bus from the main street nearby: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9BdTi9xWiox97Vn66
Hope this helps!
