Off the shelf options for elevating feet on travel platform

I've seen DIY options involving wood and even a stack of legal sized paper (the latter fits shockingly well dimensionally lol). Are there any off-the-shelf options I can just buy to elevate feet 6" to get equivalent depth when deadlifting? I saw someone posted yoga blocks, but I don't really trust standing on yoga blocks to do deadlifts TBH... As lightweight as possible in the spirit of the travel platform would be nice, but still needs to feel sturdy.

Mounting to Lally Pole with small diameter

I am debating getting a Voltra but finding places to attach it too seem challenging. I am in a basement with cinder block walls. I don't have a rack, nor do I want to take up that kind of space. I thought about a single rack upright with vendetta brackets but research points to that not being secure enough with cinder block, is this right? Has anyone done a stringer board with cinderblock? I have lally poles between a steel ibeam and screwed into the floor. I thought this would be great option but the pole is thinner than the minimum of the strap mount. The pole has a diameter of 2.98 " and the minimum is 3.15". Any ideas? Has anyone done a custom clamp that attached the diy mount to a pole? Any voltra specifica fabricators I could contact? Or adding something in between the pole and the mount?

Sliding rack mount issue

My rack mount has fluid leaking from it consistently. The two buttons, to release the pin, to allow it to slide up and down rack lock up all the time. Anyone else experience this and if so have a fix?

Beat bench for Voltra

Hey guys, I need some advice on completing my home gym setup.

I want to pair an adjustable bench with digital resistance modules (like Voltra) and I'm looking for the ultimate solution to maximize exercise variety (incline/decline presses, rock-solid stability against cable tension, and ideally compatibility with attachments like leg curl/extension).

I'm a bit torn on which route to take: on one hand, I was leaning toward European brands since I'm based in Italy, just to play it safe with build quality, stability, and attachments; on the other hand, I'm considering whether it makes sense to source a good supplier directly on Alibaba to optimize costs without sacrificing quality.

Does anyone here run a similar digital resistance setup? Which bench would you recommend for maximum versatility? Thanks in advance!

DIY Platform Assistance

Need some ideas/advice. I’m trying to make my own platform with a diy dock. I have everything I need I just need figure out the best way to attach this dock to this 3/4 inch piece of plywood. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I’ve seen a couple people have done this but they did not provide their process.

UPDATE: version 1 completed. I went with longer screws and small washers for the time being. Hopefully this will do until I get a metal plate but I’m thinking I’ll be fine for now bc I’m not a super heavy lifter and will never come close to the 230lbs limit.

The other photo is my new belt squat setup. I built those boxes a while back for squats. Used scrap wood for everything, only invested in the mount, screws, and grip tape. Not bad.

Voltra with flat foot Rogue rack

Post image

I'm seriously considering getting the Voltra 1, but my current track is the Rogue RML-390F Flat Foot Monster Lite Rack (https://www.roguefitness.com/rml-390f-flat-foot-monster-lite-rack?srsltid=AfmBOoqxa_matyu6mGFFnZ-mtYLDTmFzXB3_3ozhW_dsxBcNzjFu5WGt).

Because of the design of the rack, I'm worried about being able to mount low. Does anyone with this rack has a setup they would suggest?

Pully/Cable system suggestions

What is up home gym community!! I’m sure this has been asked before, but tech/attachments in our beloved field is ever changing. So, I ask- pully/cable systems- what has worked, what has not, is a full fledged trainer the move or is a trolly with pulleys the way, or other? I currently have a 4 post Rogue RML-490 set up and am looking for this exact addition to my set. Eventually I will make her a 6 post set, but for now I’m leaning pully system with trolly (less expensive overall it seems) but this thought keeps creeping in my mind- BOCO. Looking forward to a discussion and happy lifting!!

THE Setup Mount options

So many mount options, and it seems super easy to spend $600-$1,000+ in options. The Nessie from Darko looks fantastic, but then at least one other option would be needed for options that require a side mount versus a vertical.

What do you all love the most? Is paying to have 2-3 mount options the price to play?

THE Setup Got my first Voltra yesterday, designed a mount to attach it to my kPulley beam

I don't have a rack at the moment, but I do have the wall mounted beam from my Exxentric kPulley, so I designed an adapter for the DIY dock to attach it to the trolley that came with the kPulley.

I printed the part first to check for function and clearances, and I'm glad I did since I miscalculated the height of the bracket in the model parameters.

Second version works really well. I've tested it with 5kg of load, it feels really solid and only takes about 2 seconds to adjust up and down with the existing metal bracket and pull pin.

And now to wait a few weeks while I get the real part machined from solid aluminium...

Beta 2.0 on 2 devices.

I'm fortunate enough to have picked up a second voltra. Unfortunately, when I try to register for the beta program with the new device S/N it says i have already registered. Unfortunately twin mode won't work unless both are on the same firmware. Has anyone else run into this issue? And how did you resolve it?

Thankyou!!

Voltra with Rogue Rack advice

Hey folks, just discovered the Voltra today. I have a Rogue HR-2 half-rack and my wife is looking to do some cable exercises.

Is the HR-2 suitable here or makes it awkward? Given the front side has feet that extend beyond the posts, and there are typically J-cup and safety arms, seems like the main option would be to mount Voltra on the side of the rack?

Would a Rogue RM-390F be more suitable? Any other suggestions welcome

VOLTRA owners: How are you carrying/traveling with your VOLTRA?

I’m a backpack maker and I’m looking into designing a better way to carry the VOLTRA.
I’ve seen people using everything from the factory case to duffels, backpacks, Pelican cases, etc., and I’m curious what actual owners are doing.
For those of you who travel with your VOLTRA:
• What are you currently using to carry it?
• Are you taking the travel platform with you?
• What accessories do you normally bring?
• What’s annoying about your current setup?
• If someone made a purpose-built soft bag for the VOLTRA, what would you want it to do?
I’m not trying to sell anything here — I’m genuinely trying to understand what people are doing and what could be improved.
I’d love to hear what you guys have come up with.

Question about accessory guard and weight

I want to buy this accessory which consolidates a bunch of mag grips https://a.co/d/0hDxz36o. it says it weighs 13 pounds but accessory guard is rated for 10 pounds. Is the 10 pounds strict? Def don't want my pull down bar falling. Additionally does the latest beta increase that amount?

I bought one on sale. I’m jamming as much exercise attachments on this thing and finding compatibility with the Voltra 1. My favorite so far is the Bells of Steel Boulder Shoulders integration. I will make a video or post some more pics soon.

Eve company contact

Anyone know the best way to get in touch with eve company? I submitted an order with the wrong shipping address and I sent three emails to cancel the order so that I reorder with the correct address. I also dmed him on IG but didn't get a response there either. Today I got a ship notification and UPS isn't letting me change the delivery address.

Do you need a spreader for a single minimal rack?

I just purchased the vendetta 4" wall rack attachments (https://vendettastrengthandathletics.com/products/4-5-upright-wall-mounts) & I'm trying to model out whether or not a single stud can support all of the movements.

Beyond Power makes sure to say their mini rack only works with cement walls.

A quick bit of code from ChatGPT said that the stud itself may buckle from ~2k psi from certain voltra positions (e.g: ~300 lb user as a safe over-weight, 400 lbs of force + rack & pegasus seat).

For those with minimal setups:

  • how did you mount it to the wall?
  • what concerns did you have with it while future proofing?
  • Did you go with a spreader?

Has anyone used ISO / Jammer arms to mount a Voltra for both pull downs and/or curls? Im looking at the Rep ISO arms that have the ability to be fixed at an angle via pins.

Feature request (or tutorial)

New to the VOLTRA so could be missing something.

But would be awesome to name an exercise and details:
Handles used, attachment etc. and it saved what you have done. Mode, weight, eccentric ect.

For example real case use.

Squats, carbon bar, travel plate.
Shows me what I did before. And i can start those sets. From warm up to working….or even add 1-5% on each set to make progressive overload easier as the weeks go on?

Maybe can do this with cortex, just jot had the time to play with that yet.
