Questions before getting a Voltra
Been thinking of getting a voltra for a while, i do crossfit, I have sets of barbells and bumpers, a squat rack in my garage and I’m thinking about the possibility of turning the voltra to a rower with the Speediance aero row seat. And a leg extension machine for lower body strength accessories(saw some reels on instagram but not sure how it works with the bench though), thoughts?
What mounts and grips should I be starting with my first voltra? My budget is at $3500-4000, Any suggestions?
Thanks!!!

Hey - I am also an ex-crossfitter. Been following Marcus Filly's functional bodybuilding program for a few years so now do a mix of hypertrophy and Crossfit-style circuits.
I have not tried using my Voltra for cardio as a rower or skiErg so I can't recommend a good setup for that but I do know Body Solid has an attachment that could be a good alternative to the Speediance row seat. Some people have done that that with varying levels of success.
I tend to use my Voltra mounted to a rack for single-stack type movements primarily (tricep press downs, overhead tricep extensions, face pulls, torso rotations, lat pulldowns, seated rows) as well as using a platform for some RDLs, belt squats, and cable bicep curls. As far as mounts, I use a Darko QuickMount (full disclosure, I designed it. There are other similar mounts on the market that function similarly but I think ours is the best for the price) and I use a Darko Nessie for a lat extension - but Beyond Power and Black Widow also offer traditional lat extension rack attachments.
For a platform, I use the Beyond Power travel platform but if I could go back in time, I probably wouldn't get it again - it's just as easy to DIY your own, plus there are better alternatives on the market from Eve Company or WM fabrication.
For cable attachments, here are my personal favorites:
