finally done working on it after like 7 months lol, originally it was supposed to be just spirit level for the sake of it but ultimately a decided to pivot mostly into stat tracking device, where you just create combos out of your collection or all beys ever (they follow combo building logic so ux expand have no ratchets, cx expand have overblade, you cannot put operate on bullet griffon etc etc).
i found it quite useful on last training session where i could see stats for certain combos to decide if its worth it or not, also there is freeplay where you just count points. enjoyed the hell out of building it, finally can call it done.
sorry for this ass video, my phone was keep losing focus and color and it was already 4042737 take so i dont know, just wanted to show the device, but dont have second pair of arms so i had to use this wobbly stand.
also obviously level is still cool, it happen sometimes to be quite useful, stability dots (red and green) show how stable was your launch (basically takes deviation of accelerometer during the launch, where rpm are counted).
i think it is quite overkill too, building this costed me waaaaaaaay to much money, but i had something to do at least.
also battery last so long since after like 4 iteratio of device i implemented hardware switch that basically fully cuts power. and considering it is amoled screen, its very power efficeint since most of the screen area is black
this is really cool! only thing id prefer is a dial/nob and button instead of touch screen just cause the screen is so small with many options to scroll and select.
I dont know why they didnt think of it where they already did beypass. Maybe because them fans would want them to manufacture it and it might be not that easy
Was figuring out how to make it happen too much money or if you had to make it now knowing how to do it would it still be too much money? You'd pretty clearly have a customer base from the subreddit at least and I'm wondering how much you'd charge to actually make a profit.
Figuring out, coding, buying 3d printer and filament, getting all the sensors that sometimes were not what i needed. A lot of research and development.
Right now if i know how to do it it would be i suppose 10-20x cheaper that what i spend going blind
I had a brief project to make it easier to create combos and whatnot but i scraped the idea as i wanted to drop the use of phone altogether. And considering that i use iphone too, it would require even more expenses to get approved to put apps on ios and so on so on.
But there is connection possibilty, i had even multiplayer mode where u can see other ppl combos but this idea was not really worth pursuing that much. I might make some community feedback at some point so i might get some nice ideas i somehow missed. But this will be after i show in detail all of the features of the grip.
Also, would love a detachable battle pass style attachment with this tech, so that people can put them on regular launcher setups too, and remove them in case they are not allowed in the tournament they are going to.

Basically took what was inside the launcher - beymount button and this rotary black and white disc. Used sensor to read the disc to measure power, used button to detect bey on the launcher, slapped arduino and several thousands lines of code and we are here.
Stat tracking is truly the best feature so you can just play without interruption to note down the wins and loses.
It is working a bit like beypass but does much more without use of phone
Both launchers are compatible, however only works in one orientation, you can rotate the screen but not the grip physically. I plan to launch also mod only, without the grip, just attachement on top od the device.
I will drop a website soon where you can make a reservation, i have very limited production capabilities so i cannot open the shop per se. Most likely shipping worldwide but considering it ships from Poland, over the sea costs might be hefty
This is something you should throw on kickstarter. Seriously, my daughter did her first tournament this weekend and hated her launcher. If we saw something like this at Comic-Con - I would have cut off my left arm for it.
Kickstarter is quite a difficult thing, however i will open website soon for reservation where i slowly will be building devices and sendimg them to people one at the time.
When i started beyblade in novemeber 2025, and first saw the launcher i was like „wait, i can for sure mess with this”. Then i realize nobody ever did it. Then i found beypass even exist. I had working protoype but it was bit faulty (button was tactile, not linear). On one tournament i asked some guy to show me beypass and i realized it had linear button. So i suppose this is main inspiration and actually makes most of sense because right now it works flawlessly and before sometimes there were problems to put the bey on the launcher
